December 21, 1975
Peter is attempting not to cry while hugging me at the train platform before I leave. Peter, James, Remus, Lily, Marlene, Pandora, Evan and Regulus here to send me off.
"Sorry the others couldn't be here." Lily said, apologizing.
"It's alright, they should rest. I just wish I could've seen them before I left." I answered with a sad smile.
"Sirius wanted to come and the others too, they send their regards and want you to have a good trip." Remus told me.
I luckily thanked him before I was interrupted by Peter complaining.
"You can't leave, don't leave me here with them." Peter begged as he held on tight to me.
I let out a laugh as I patted his back. "You'll be fine Pete, Lune is here to watch over you too. Right Lune?" I asked looking over to Remus.
Remus nodded. "Of course, I'll be right here with whatever mischief they'll make." Remus said smiling, which seemed to reassure Peter a bit as he eases his grip on me.
"You have to write us letters alright?" Peter said as he rubbed his eyes. "Don't just leave us behind like ghosts."
"I would never." I told him while smiling, Peter smiling back.
"Take this." Peter said as he handed me a small long rectangle box.
I looked down at the gift. "What might this be?" I asked.
"It's a quill, so that you'll always think of us while you write to us." Peter said, smiling.
I gave him a tight hug before I let him go.
"I love you so much Pete, when wouldn't I think of you." I told him, smiling as I hugged him tighter.
I suddenly heard some stifled sobs from Peter, making me chuckle a bit. "Don't cry Pete, I'll be back before you know it, I promise.
Peter nodded before giving me a final hug to go next to Remus.
Marlene suddenly gave me a big hug, suddenly stopping me from breathing. "Marls, You're suffocating me."
Marlene suddenly let me go, apologizing as she checked to make sure I was alright. "You alright El?"
"Perfectly fine. How about you?" I asked
"I'm fine as long as you are." Marlene replied, smiling as she held my hand. "You stay safe alright El, owl me if anything happens."
"I will." I said smiling.
Lily approached me as Marlene walked back to the side, next to Remus looking at me warily.
"Will you be alright?" Lily asked as she got closer.
"I will, if I'm not you and Marls will be the first to know." I told her when a voice suddenly chimed in.
"Not before us!" Peter and James shouted, gaining looks from the others at the platform.
"Here, this is some floo powder that I made for you so if anything happens, you come back to us alright." Lily insisted as she handed me a bottle.
"If that will make you feel better." I told her as I accepted it.
[Lily Evan's Perspective:
It had only been two years since Lily had despised Elpis with all her heart, but she was here now sending the same person off with a bright smile, only wanting her to return safely.
Elpis had transferred to Ilvermorney in their second year, surprising every student at Hogwarts.
Her appearance was unexpected and unwelcome by Lily, especially after she had seen her get closer to James.
