Alright.....

How was I the last person to find out that Remus and Sirius were finally together?

"You told them before me?" I asked exasperated.

"Sirius wanted to notify James first, as per usual, and Peter was just there." Remus explained.

"I'm hurt Ri." I frowned.

They all clearly knew i wasn't. I was actually more than thrilled that they were finally together after a grueling several years of intense chemistry between the two just for them to say 'he's just a friend', yeah right, if friend meant a person you could imagine a loving life without.

"Don't pout!" He quickly reacted. "I'll immediately notify you the next time I have breaking news similar to this."

"A breaking news like this?" I raise my eyebrows. "It'll never happen again."

"Understood! We'll report directly to you whenever we get major news."
"That's what I like to hear. Thanks for thinking of me." I smiled. "But congrats you too."

Everything smoothed over soon after, the afternoon was brought with nothing but calmness, except for Effy taking us to get some supplies for school with her insistence.

"This is so boring mum, could we leave already?" James complains.

"We haven't even picked anything out for any of you." Effy raises her eyebrows. "You need new supplies. Remember, you spent all your money on absurd things, in the beginning of the year last year."

James turns away when we chuckle at the memory. The reason why Effy sent a howler to him in the first place.

"I have my reasons." He begins.
"Don't start with your horrible excuses, just nod and stop trying to argue." I stop him.

He huffs before he nods.

"Doesn't that feel better?" I teased.
He rolls his eyes, grinning. "Sure."

"We'll take care of him Effy, you can get whatever it is you need to do." Remus reassured her.

"I don't need a babysitter." James complains.
"Sure you don't." Sirius teases him this time around.

"Both of you behave. Thank you my dears." She smiles before going off in another direction.

We quickly pull him away before he can start to complain.

"Let's play a game." I suggest.
"What game? I'm up for anything at this point." James eagerly asks.

"Since you two are the so called "prank masters", I thought you might have an idea of what to do."
He shrugs. "You make one up."

"Alright." I paused for a few seconds. "This will be a bit like the Triwizard Tournament."

"Wasn't that banned for years after what happened almost 30 years ago?" Peter asks Remus.

Remus nods to confirm his suspicions.

"How do you know that?" Sirius gasps.

"When you have had to grow up with a hyper young James that was banned from playing quidditch, you'll know how he blasts your ears with facts about everything he could get his hands on in place of it." Peter looks over at James that shyly smiles at the embarrassing fact.

"How cute." I smile at James. "But it's not going to be like that, they're banned for a reason, so we're just going to do something similar. We'll be doing one section of the tournament. A competition to test our resourcefulness."
