September 30, 1976

I was completely cleared to leave the infirmary a couple of days ago.
James started to state his doubts out loud to Madam Pomfrey, wanting me to stay a little bit longer. She'd told him it was not needed and that I was fine. He was hesitant.... which was a complete understatement.

Remus, Lily, Alice, and Mary tripled checked with Madam Pomfrey so much so that she gave them an official diagnosis to lessen their worry, basically providing them with a medical lesson, even though she relied on magic most of the time, but I was glad that it finally satisfied them at least.

Everything slowly went back to normal, the only non normal thing about going back to my normal routine was the sting of my injury still bothering me through out the day, but other than that, everything was fine.

"What the bloody hell Fabian?" Barty yelled, jumping out of his chair, his pants now a dark orange. "I'm not the cauldron!"

"Sh*t! I missed. I'm sorry Barty." Fabian apologized, setting down the vial in his hands. "I seriously thought that I would make it."

"Not from up there you fool." He raised his hands in disbelief. "I need to go change. Professor?"

"Go ahead." Professor Slughorn told him, quickly casting a spell to nullify whatever was in that vial that was poured onto Barty. "Mr. Prewett, make sure to clean up your area as well, we wouldn't want you to suddenly transform into a toad."

I swear I could see a slim smirk from Barty's lips and a tight lipped Fabian turning his face towards him as he walked out.

They were up to something, I am positive about that, but I couldn't quite put my finger on what they were up to. As long as they weren't committing a crime, they could do whatever they pleased.

The class returned to their assignment in front of them.

"Let me pour that for you." James offered when I realized he had approached our table.
"I can still pour with my right hand Potter." I told him, pushing him back towards his partner for the assignment.

"Belle-" he whined.
"Go work with Mary and shut it." I glared at him before turning my attention back to the assignment.

Mary laughed at the sight once he made his way back to her.

"I told you she didn't need you." I heard her whisper. James responded with a groan before slumping in his chair.

"Quite a handful isn't he?" Alice chuckled, separating the rest of the ingredients into the required amounts as I walked back to our table.

I laugh in agreement with her, pouring and stirring in the things that I can while Alice does the cutting.

Class went by swiftly and without any other hassle. Barty came back with a change of clothes and everything returned to normal, with the addition of Barty's and Gideon's minds for mischief being ever so present with his return.

It was safe to say that I spoke too soon.

The next thing we knew, frogs popped out from everyone's tables just as we we about to finish up our potion.

"What a hopping revelation!" Fabian obviously feigned surprise.

That boy may be a great potion maker, but he could never lie well if his life depended on it.

"Oh Merlin. What ever shall we do?" Barty joined in.

Students around us began running out of the room as the frogs began raining upon their stations, Professor soon running out after as well when he saw no end to the raining of frog, ushering out the students before he himself left the room.
