Warning: Blood

December 25, 1975

I'm trying to leave the house right now. I woke up at the crack of dawn to do so, so I don't bother them too much and make it harder for me to leave, but my plan failed because now I'm at the bottom of the stairs with Ted trying to pull me back while Andromeda is just watching, laughing.

"Help me Andy!" I request.

"No! Don't!" Ted yells.

"I have to leave Ted." I groan as I move an inch every 20 minutes like I have been for the past 8 hours.

I got out of bed at 5 and made my way downstairs at 6, getting caught by them right away.

"You can stay here." Ted pleads.

"We've been here for 8 hours, if I don't leave now, I won't be able to see in the snow." I tell him as I try to pry his hands off my coat.

I was exhausted.

They caught me at my room and Ted has been holding me back since then.

How are they not tired?

"No!" Ted refutes, pulling tighter onto my coat until a hand comes and pulls him back.

Andromeda has pulled him behind her, struggling to keep him there.

"Go." She tells me with a sad smile.

I nod my head as I grab my things and my sword, just in case my mother attacks me with a sword the moment I take a step into her territory.

"Merry Christmas!" I told them and proceeded to open the door, walking through and then closed it.

I tried to leave the house sooner to make sure something like that wouldn't happen, but I failed and now I'm behind schedule.

To make it worse, there was a small snowstorm or blizzard.

I couldn't tell with the snow flying around in my face and the wind pushing at me.

I walked for as long as I could until I found the coachman, Andromeda's to be precise, the same one who took me from my house.

I was out of the storm for now and was headed towards another.

What a way to start the day.

I look down at my pocket watch. It's now 2pm. I'm very, very behind schedule.

I have no clue how the coachman is able to see in this storm, but I think we arrived seeing how he's knocking on the windows of the carriage, holding a hand for me to use to get out.

I accept it and give him a smile, thanking him.

He gives me a smile back, wishing me luck as he goes back.

I was now alone, standing in front of the gates of my house.

What used to be I guess.

I was looking at the gate when something caught my eyes.

The lock for the gate.

It was broken.

What happened?

I take my sword, keeping it close to me as I get closer to the gate, pushing it a bit.

It was completely broken.

The gate was now widely opened, opened enough for a group of people to walk in.

I cautiously walk through the gate, making sure not to make a sound as I try to see if there are tracks in the snow, there aren't.
