Chapter 5

Next day in the music room:

Everyone except Aroon has already reached the music room. They were waiting for him to start the rehearsals when he came running into the room.

Aroon: (panting): I... I

Atid quickly gets a bottle of water and gives it to Aroon.

Atid: Drink some water first.

Aroon takes couple of sip and tries to catch his breath.

Aroon: I am sorry for being late. I was able to come out of my house when I saw Prem from Rhythm waiting outside my gate. I had go through the back gate and take long route to dodge him.

Niran: What is that as**ole doing there?

Aroon: I don't know. He was at my home yesterday with his father. His father is my dad's business partner. He has been trying to get close to me since yesterday but I just get bad vibes from him.

Chai: He is a total douchebag. He has been trying to snatch our events for last couple of months. He even got into argument with Atid because of that.

Aroon: They even suggested me leaving our band and joining them.

Niran: He is bad. You need to stay away from him.

Aroon: Hmm

Niran: I think it's better if I drop you home for next couple of days.

Aroon: No it's okay Niran. Your house is on the opposite side of town.

Niran: But

Atid: I will drop him.

Everyone: Ehhh

Atid: We leave close to each other. So we can come and go together for few days from now. Prem won't bother him if he is with me.

Niran: But

Panit: That's it. Atid will take care of Aroon. Niran, with your exams coming up,  you already have lot to do. Let someone else take care of this problem.

Niran looks at Aroon for support but he just agrees to the decision. Niran decides to let it go as he can never win an argument with Panit.

The team then starts their music rehearsals as they have a concert in a week's time.

Aroon and Atid keeps looking at each other in between the rehearsals. Atid asks if he was okay using hand signals while Aroon blinks his eyes to say yes.
Atid rubs his hand on Aroon's shoulder asking him to relax. They hardly spoke a word and communicating through their eyes and body. Unknown to them, someone else was watching their interactions.

After the rehearsals:

Panit: Let's have a cup of tea to refresh ourselves before going him.

Everyone agrees and follows him to the  canteen.

As they were walking Niran pulls Aroon close to him and starts talking.

Niran: Is there something you need to tell me?

Aroon: Ha..

Niran: Are you hiding something from  me?

Aroon: No. Why would I?

Niran: Then how come you became close to that idiot Atid in just one night.

Aroon: Niran, stop calling him names. He is a nice guy.

Niran: Oh no. Please tell me you haven't fallen for his charms.

Aroon just rolls his eyes at Niran.

Aroon:  He has so many beautiful girls and handsome guys to date him. Why would he even look at me.

Niran: Oh, he has been looking.

Aroon looks at Niran in shock.

Niran: He was looking at you during our entire rehearsals. I don't know what is going on between you but it definitely is mutual.

Niran completes  his sentence and goes over to Panit to help him carry the tea for everyone. Aroon looks around and his eyes met with Atid's as he was already looking at him. He smiles and then looks at his phone.

Aroon's POV:

Was he really looking at me the whole time? But why? Is there something on my face? Aroon checks his face in his phone cam but does not find anything wrong. Aroon once again looks in Atid's direction but the table was empty. Did he just leave him and go? Then felt someone's hand on his shoulder. He looks up to see Atid standing next to him.

Atid's POV:

I don't know why I have been staring at him for a long time. His smile....His smile is so contagious and cute that I want to protect him forever. What the hell am I saying? Why am I getting involved with him? I need to leave now and not get involved in his mess. Atid gets up and moves towards the door but stops midway thinking about Aroon dealing with Prem alone. I am responsible for him. I need to take care of my band mate. I go to Aroon's table to get him to go home.

Atid: Let's go.

Aroon: Haaa

Arid: It's getting late. Let's go home. I need to go somewhere else after going home.

Aroon quickly says goodbye to everyone and walks towards the busstop with Atid. They take their route bus and gets down at the stop like previous  night. They then walks towards their house.

As they near Aroon's house,  Atid see Prem waiting for him at the gate. Atid abruptly holds Aroon's hand and walk towards his home. Aroon was in complete shock but quickly recovers on seeing Prem waiting for him. He tighten his hold on Atid's hand 

Atid could see the Prem's face turn sour on seeing him hold Aroon's hand.  They quickly reach Aroon's house and bids goodbye ignoring Prem completely. As he sees Prem approaching Aroon, Atid quickly holds Aroon's face and place a kiss on his forehead.

Atid: Bye baby. See you tomorrow at the music club.

Aroon does not say anything and just nods his head. He then notices Prem looking at Atid in anger and getting into his car and driving away.

Atid and Aroon stood there awkwardly after what happened between them.

Atid: I am sorry. I didn't mean to..

Aroon: It's okay. I understand.

Aroon bids goodbye to Atid and walks into his house. Atid stood there for some time and then walks towards his house.

Meanwhile somewhere across the town:

"He's mine. I will not let anyone snatch  him away from me. Love, I am coming for you."
