We didn't finish playing football until it turned pitch black so then we decided to go for a walk around my street. While walking the boys yelled 'GO!' and they ran off.
'Guyyyss...' I whined, 'c'mon, where are you.' We ran after them but they just disappeared. We sat down on a patch of grass in front of a small building and waited for them, after about 10 minutes I heard a noise. It sounded like a whistle, quickly I turned around, only to find all of the boys (even innocent Shawn!) on the roof of the building!
'What are you doing? You're going to get into trouble!' Caitlyn yelled.
'Its our hide out!' Cameron yelled back. We laughed at them nervously, knowing they would get killed if they were caught.
'Come up! It's fun!' Hayes yelled. Me and Caitlyn exchange nervous glances.
'Ok, help us up.' I replied. Matt jumped down and and gave me a boost up then gave me a boost.
'Thanks Matt.' Both me and Caitlyn said at the same time.
'No... Problem.' Matt said in between jumps. The boys sat down in the roof and just relaxed meanwhile me and Caitlyn where completely agitated so we told the boys that we were scared that we would get caught and into trouble. We jumped down and told the boys to come down as well. All the boys jumped off the roof apart from Cameron, he just sat on the end trying to look cool until we heard a sudden howl of the wind. Surprised by the sound, Cameron accidentally jolted forward and fell off the wall, even though the wall was only 2 meters high Cameron was caught off-guard by the fall and wasn't ready to land. With a thud Cam hit the floor which nocked him unconscious.
'CAMERON!' Caitlyn cried. She fell to the floor beside him and wept into her hands. Matt called 911 for an ambulance meanwhile the rest of us froze, not knowing what to do. I looked over to Shawn who had tears streaming down his face, Matt who had just put down the phone after explains where we were and Hayes who sat at the other side of Cameron, trying to wake him up.
'Come on bro, I know you can hear me,' he whispered, trying not to cry, 'just wake up, you are fine.' I ran to Matt who was also crying. I rapped my arms around him and cried into his chest. Matt hugged me back, squeezing me tight, I could hear his heart racing.
'This... This is all my fault.' Matt said in between sobs. 'Why did I suggest this, what have I done?' He cried harder.
'Look Matt, it's not your fault. No one knew this was going to happen.' I said.
