It took around 10 minutes to walk to the park, usually it would only take 5 but Matt wanted some Pringles and the boys wanted an ice lolly so we stopped at a shop. Matt payed for the Pringles, ice lollies and a chocolate bar for me.
'Really, you don't have to get me anything, I'm fine!' I said when Matt offered to buy me something....
'No, I insist.' Matt insisted. I didn't want to argue with him so I allowed home to buy me a small chocolate bar. Walking to the park was so much fun, we raced, laughed and talked. There was never a dull moment with me, Matt, Hayes and Shawn, we were already acting like best friends. I've never felt comfortable in my own skin but when I'm with them I'm not afraid to be myself, they excepted me for who I was, I didn't have to pretend to be someone else.
'You know, you're a really sweet, pretty girl Mollie. I don't know why Lexi and the others are mean to you.' Shawn smiled.
'Thanks Shawn.' I replied back, grinning from ear to ear. Me and Shawn had walked ahead of the others, deep in conversation.
'So, I heard you sing!' I said to Shawn.
'Yeah, I do. I have quite a few songs out at the moment including a single with over 7 million views on FaceBook.' Shawn said proudly.
'In fact, I'm working on a mother single called Something Big, would you like to help me work on it?' Shawn asked.
' I would love to, we could work on it In the park.' I replied. We were almost at the park by then and the boys were quite far behind us so we slowed down and waited for them.
