Once we had all finished putting up the tents and sleeping bags and organising the sleeping arrangement (me and Caitlyn would be sharing a text therefore out mums would be sharing a tent) we decided to explore the camp site. It was massive, it had a giant river which people were swimming in and at the other side it had a park with slides and see-saw's and-
'SWINGS!' Caitlyn yelled racing as fast as she could to get her pick.
'I bet I can swing higher!' I teased.
'Wanna bet?' She dared. We both swung as high as we could then we both decided to jump of. Even though Caitlyn swung the highest I still managed to jump the furthest.
'I WIN!' I yelled.
'Whatever.' Caitlyn whined. We played at the park until it got dark, then my mum phoned me and said that it was time we came back to the tents.
'Hey mum, aunty Kate, we're back.' I called. My mum and Kate were outside, they set up a little wooden table and matching wooden chairs and they were both drinking glasses of wine and munching on some salt and vinegar Pringles.
'Well you guys made yourself comfortable.' Caitlyn said.
'Yes we did.' Said Kate. 'Pringles?' Kate offered pointing the tin in our direction.
'Ooohhh yes please:' I said, grabbing a miassive handful and taking it back into my tent. Kate out the tub of Pringles back on the bench and then turned and carried on gossiping to my mum about people from her work. By this time it was 11:30pm so me and Caitlyn went to bed.
'Night girls.' Our parent called out.
'Night mum.' We replied. We both got changed in out pyjamas and went to bed. I was just about to get into bed when I remembered that I was going to call Matt.
'Where are you going?' Caitlyn asked as is yelled out of the tent.
'I promised Matt that I would call him.' I answered.
'Okidoki.' She said. 'I'll wait up.'
'Ok, see you later.' Then I walked out of the tent.
'Just gonna call Matt.' I told the adults.
'Ooohh lala.' They teased. I just rolled my eyes and walked away. Then I dialled Matt's number and waited for an answer.
'Hey Mollie.' Matt said.
'Hey babe, why do you sound so out of breath?' I asked.
'Oh, I didn't notice.' Matt replied.
'Are you drunk?' I asked.
'Yes he is!' Someone I'm the background called out.
'Shut up.' Matt laughed.
'Hey Matt! Tell your girlfriend she has competition.' The girl called out.
'What is she talking about?' I asked.
'Ummmmm.' Matt stuttered.
'Matt who are you with.' I asked.
'Im with... Umm...'
