A week passed and Lexi kept on bullying me meanwhile Matt carried on sticking up for me. On Friday after school Lexi came up to me.
'Oh, if it isn't geekzilla. Haha she thinks that she has a chance with Matt haha! PATHETIC!' Lexi laughed then out of nowhere she slapped me across the face.
'OUCH!' I could feel tears prickling up on my eyes.
'Lexi! Did you just smack Mollie?!' Matt said pouncing over to us.
'This is too far, what is wrong with you, do you really think this is acceptable?' He said mortified.
'Mollie has done nothing wrong, she is smart, kind and way more beautiful then you'll ever be so just leave her alone!' Matt yelled at Lexi.
'Did Matt really just say that?' I wondered.
'Why am I getting so excited over this, he is probably just saying this, he doesn't mean it.' I thought. I walked away, humiliated Because of Lexi but thrilled because of Matt. I walk to the bus.
'Hey Mollie, wow your face is really red, are you ok? Shall I take you to the nurse? I really hate Lexi!' Matt rambled.
'Yeah I'm fine, so are you taking the bus?' I asked.
'No, I walk home, do you want to walk with me, I could drop you off?' Matt asked. I decided to walk with him because I was in no rush to get home because I had no school the next day.
Surprisingly, Matt was really easy to talk to. He kept on saying how stupid Lexi was and how strong I was for ignoring her. Then we started laughing about how shocked Lexi was when Matt started yelling at her. Unfortunately, before I know it we arrived at my house, I was hoping I could have got to spend some more time with Matt.
'This is me.' I said outside my front door.
'Oh, ok. Here's my number, call or text me later today.' Matt smiled which then made me smile.
'You know, what I said to Lexi was the truth, you are really smart and beautiful.' Matt whispered and then out of nowhere he leaned over and kissed me. We both pulled apart after about 10 seconds and said goodbye
