'Are you sure?' Caitlyn asked, sounding shocked.
'Yeah, I'm going to text him right now, say I want to meet up and talk, probably at the park.' I answered, a little nervously.
'What made you change your mind?' Shawn questioned.
'Well... Lots of things really.' I started. 'Everyone (especially you guys) kept one saying how much we should be together and how we are perfect for each other, which I guess I agree with. Also, I always find myself thinking about him, plus... I haven't felt the same since the break up, like a part of me has been missing. it has been ages but I still miss him, I love him and even though he cheated on me I know he didn't realise it cos he was drunk and he just be really sorry considering he is still fighting for me.' I finished.
'Well I'm really happy for you.' Cameron said.
'Yeah me too.' Everyone else agreed.
'Ok well wish me luck cos I'm going to text him right now.' I stuttered.
'You don't need luck, he will want you back.' Hayes said. I grabbed my phone and found Matt's name.
'Here goes.' I mumbled.
'Hey Matt?' I texted, I wasn't going say anything about meeting up until he replied. As soon as the text was sent he saw it and within only seconds he replied.
'Mollie! I'm so glad you texted, I'm really sorry.' He texted back.
'Me too Matt, could we meet up?'
'Yeah of course, when and where?' He asked.
'At the park, and now if that's ok...'
'Yeah, perfect, I'll be 5 minutes.' I read the text them put my phone back in my pocket.
'How did it go?' Caitlyn asked.
'Im gonna meet him at the park, now, so I'm going to get going.' I answered. Everyone cheered, I laughed at their excitement and then left, I ran down the stairs and then opened the door and left. Walking towards the park I started to get butterflies in my stomach. I was excited and nervous, I knew this was what I wanted, I was positive, I just hoped Matt was too. I walked through the park and found the little play area. I saw Matt sitting on a swing (which was not moving) as he put his hand through his hair. He was wearing a blue jumper, a pair of jeans, some black vans and his hair all quiffed. I took a deep breath and walked towards him, I sat on the swing and said hi.
'Hey, Mollie I'm sorry, I'm an idiot-' he started before I cut him off. I stood up from the swing and so did we so that we were facing each other
'Look Matt, I know your sorry, and so am I, I know it was a mistake, I should have listened to you, but... We'll I thought you didn't really care but I was wrong, you fought for me, after all this time you didn't give up on me and Im the one who as been the idiot, not noticing how much you cared.' I said.
'Your not the idiot, you were just mad, and I don't blame you, but you have no idea how much I regret what I did and I hope you will take me back.' Matt replied, making eye contact.
'Thats the thing, I still love you and always have, I just hope I'm not too late.' I sighed.
'Mollie, your my girl, of course it's not too late.' Then, without missing a beat, he kissed me and I kissed back straight away. It felt so right and so good, I had waited so Lin to kiss Matt but I didn't realise how much I wanted it until now. It was a long passionate kiss, full of all the emotion and feelings we kept locked up for each other.
'Mollie... Will you be my girlfriend?' Matt asked.
'Of course.' I smiled. Then we intertwined our hands and walked back to Cameron's house because all our friends were still there.
