After what felt like a lifetime the ambulance finally came. They lifted Cameron up using special equipment, carefully making sure they didn't hurt him. The doctors brought him into the ambulance, me and the others not so far behind. We all cried even more at the sight of Cameron. There was a tone of blood gushing out of his head like a waterfall, his legs were backwards and his right arm was bent in ways that it shouldn't be. One of the doctors put a neck brace in him while another one turned on a machine which had a breathing mask attached to it which they then put over Cam's nose and mouth. We sat down next to Cameron as the ambulance turned on its siren and zoomed through the traffic.
'Oh my gosh, we forgot to call Cameron's parents!' Shawn said whilst taking his phone out of his pocket and dialling the numbers.
'Hello mrs Dallas, it's Shawn here...' Shawn said as Cam's mum answered the call.
'Yes, well no actually, I am afraid everything isn't alright. It's Cameron.' After saying his name Shawn broke down and started crying again so I went and sat next to him to comfort him while Hayes took the phone from Shawn's shaking hand.
'Its me, Hayes, I'm afraid Cameron...' Hayes paused, took a deep breath before carrying on. 'Cameron fell from a wall which was about two meters high and hit his head, he is unconscious.' Hayes' lip was quivering but he tried to act brave. 'We are at the local hospital, don't worry mrs Dallas, he will be ok.' Hayes said before hanging up, then he turned to me and asked quietly,
'Will he really be ok?' Even though Hayes try's acting mature he can switch and act young by the click of a finger. I gave Hayes my best, most encouraging smile and replied.
'Yes, he will be fine.' Hayes looked at me but didn't smile, instead he just studied me, trying to figure out if I was lying or not. I walked to the other end of the ambulance, stumbling a little because of the fast movement of the vehicle. I sat next to Hayes and hugged him, I hugged him as tight as I could and he clung on toe like a lost child who had just found parents.
'Everything will be ok.' I repeated reassuringly. Matt looked over at me bravely and came to sit next to me, he pulled me onto his lap and put his arm around Hayes.
'Cameron will be fine, don't worry.' Matt said. Shawn put his arm around Caitlyn who was crying her heart out, we tried comforting her but she wouldn't listen, she cried for the whole ride to the hospital.
