I woke up at 7:30am and as soon as I opened my eyes I shot up out of bed. I walked Into my bathroom and turned on my shower, as I waited for the water to warm up I chose my outfit, I picked out a pair of high waisted jean shorts and a white crop top, I found my black vans and a MagCon beanie and placed them in a pile on my bed. Then I walked I to the bathroom, brushed my teeth, stripped down, placed my pyjamas and underwear in the washing basket and stepped into the shower. The hotness of the water against my bare skin made me jump, and almost fall, I caught my balance and then wet my hair, I found my shampoo and squeezed it onto my head, then I starts singing a Strings by Shawn.
'Darling I want all the strings attached,
I love it when you look at me like that...' By the time the song finished I had started washing off the conditioner, I was going to shave my legs but I did that only a few days ago and I couldn't be bothered. I got out of the shower, dried myself, put on my clothes, and started drying my hair with the hair drier. Then, I straightened my hear and but on my beanie, I walked to my room, grabbed my phone off my bed, put on my black glasses and left the house. I needed to clear my mind and think about what I said yesterday, think about dating Hayes, I was going to the park. I was going to call Caitlyn and ask her to meet me there but I didn't needs a friend, I need family and since my parents were asleep and I had no siblings I decided to call the person who was like my brother, Shawn. I found his number and texted him.
M: hey
S: morning, you ok?
M: ummm... Not really...
S: what's wrong?!
M: meet me at the park? I'm there now, next to the swings.
S: getting dressed right now, I'll be there in 5 miniatures max.
M: see you them, love you 😘
S: love you too baby girl 😘.
Anyone who didn't know me and Shawn would think we were dating, but we weren't, we were just extremely close. I sat on a swing and just started swinging myself back and forth, for some reason, I started crying, I guess it was because I had so much going on. Tears slowly ran down my face but I didn't bother to wipe them away. I saw Shawn walk towards me, he had bed hair, jeans on and a MagCon jumper.
'Hey, what's wrong?' He asked as he came to give me a hug.
'I don't know.' I sober onto his jumper.
'Start from the beginning.' Shawn pulled away and we walked towards a tree, he sat down leaning against the tree with his legs in front if him. I laid down horizontal yard rested my head in his legs. He stroked my head as he knew I liked that and I told him everything, how I agreed to dating Hayes however I wasn't sue if I actually liked him in that way and how I still-deep down- loved Matthew. Shawn was a great listener, he was like the brother I never had. He was so easy to talk to, knowing he wouldn't judge you, I could tell him anything. He waited for me to stop talking then, he placed a kiss on my forehead.
'Follow your heart.' He said calmly.
'That is what I have been doing Shawn, and look where it got me.' I said loudly. 'Sorry, I am just... I don't know.' I apologised.
'Well, give it a go, date Hayes, maybe you do have feelings for him that you never knew you had, if you don't then tell him, but don't wait too long, I love you both and I would hate to see you get hurt.' Shawn smiled.
'But... What about Matt.' I questioned.
'I... I think you should hear him out, he loves you Mollie. Out of every couple I have met I have never known anyone who loves someone as much as Matt loves you. He is still taking the break up really hard, whenever I see him he is in tears. He still loves you Mollie and you still love him. Everyone says love is a strong word, no one really means it when they say it, but what you guys have or had, is love and you shouldn't throw that away.'
'Since when did you get to be so smart?' I laughed as i sat up and moved my body so I was leaning against the tree next to Shawn. He laughed. 'But it's not that easy Mendes, he cheated on me, why would he do that if he really did love me?' I leaned my head on his shoulder.
'I don't know Mollie, he was drunk and stupid. Still no excuse.' Shawn put his arm around and am hugged me.
'He was crazy for doing that to you. I was furious once I found out, your like my little sister and I love you, I never want anything like that to happen to you again, it brakes my heart to see you like this.' Shawn kissed my forehead again.
'I love you too Shawn, your like a big brother to me even though you are I love you a few months older than me.' I laughed. 'Do you wanna sleep round at my house tonight?' I asked.
'I would love to however Cam is sleeping over at mine, hey, why don't u sleep at mine as well?' Shawn said.
'Is Caitlyn coming?' I questioned.
'No but u can ask her if you want.' He offered. I texted Caitlyn asking her if she could come but se was busy, she was gonna visit her grandparents as stay there over night.
'Looks like it will just be us and Cam.' I smiled.
'Oh great, a threesome.' Shawn said.
'OH MY GOD I DID NOT MEAN IT TO COME OUT LIKE THAT!' Shawn yelled horrified. We laughed so hard.
'I mean, a sleepover with just the three of us.' Shawn explained I between laughs.
'Don't try cover it up, your not as innocent as you seem Mendes.' I grinned.
'Haha you got me.' Shawn giggled.
'Ugh Shawn your so cute!' I squealed. 'I texted my mum and she said it was fine, walk me home so I can get my things?'
'Of course, what are big brothers for?' Shawn asked. He jumped up a have me his hand. I held onto it an he pulled me up. 'You want a piggy back?' Shawn grinned.
'Do you even have to ask?' I laughed as I jumped onto his back. On our way back to my house me and Shawn started singing a bunch of random songs such as; See you again- Wiz Khalifa, Daylight-Maroon 5 and Wherever you are by 5 seconds of summer.
'Oh my god Shawn you have such an amazing voice!' I whined. I was so jealous of his voice.
'I was just about to say the same about you.' He said. I laughed.
'Me? Are you sure?' I was an awful singer, it ran in my family, no one could sing.
'Im positive, we should do a cover together of any song you like.'
'TIDES BY JACK AND JACK!' I yelled, almost falling off Shawn's back. I loved that song.
'Yeah, ok, hey, maybe we can do it with Cameron tonight, he can film and just be stupid.' Shawn suggested and laughed.
'YASSS!' I said, Shawn laughed and carried on walking. Once we reached my house I jumped off Shawn's back and walked into my house, Shawn followed behind me.
'Hey Shawn.' My mum waved. My parents loved Shawn, they thought he was a really good influence on me.
'Hi, how are you?' Shawn asked walking over to give my mum a hug.
'Good thanks.' My mum hugged back. 'How are you?'
'Not too bad myself thank you.' Shawn smiled.
'I'm gonna get my stuff.' I said. I ran up the stairs and grabbed a pair of penguin pyjamas bottoms and a Cameron Dallas tank top I wore for bed, a Shawn Mendes crop top and some shorts as well as underwear. I had slept at Shawn's so many times I already had a spare toothbrush at his. I put all my clothes in a black shoulder bag and made my way downstairs.
'Lets go!' I yelled to Shawn. I jumped on his back and said goodbye to my parents. Shawn opened the door to my house and then closed it behind him. Then, Shawn started walking to his house with me on his back
