Matt had ruined my whole weekend. No matter how hard I tried to be happy or how hard I tried I forget about him I just couldn't get him off my mind. By the last day of camping I was more mad and angry with Matt than I was sad.
'How could he do this to me after everything we had been through?' I thought which angered me.
'What could I have possible done to deserve this.' I asked Caitlyn, annoyed.
'Nothing Molls, you have done nothing, Matt is a terrible person for doing this.' Caitlyn comforted. 'But don't you think you should hear him out? See what he has to say?'
'Maybe. I don't know, let me think about it.'
'GIRLS, c'mon we are going.' Kate said. We carried the tents in their bags to the car and jumped in the back seats.
'I am so glad we have 2 more weeks off school thanks to the Christmas break.' I sighed.
'Me too.' Caitlyn agreed.
'Hey, do you wanna sleep at mine tonight?' I asked.
'Yeah!' Caitlyn grinned.
'Making plans already girls.' My mum said.
'Ummmmm....' We mumbled.
'Of course you can sleep over.' My mum laughed. 'If that's ok with you.' She checked with Kate.
'Oh that's fine with me. Great to have a night with no kids.' Kate laughed.
'Yeay!' We cheered. Then my mood completely went from happy to sad and angry and Caitlyn could tell with my facial expressions as straight away she asked me what was wrong.
'I just got a text from Matt.'
'What does it say.'
'Can we meet up?' I read, 'I miss you and I want to try and clear things up.' I continued. 'What shall I say back?' I asked.
'Say yes, let him explain and try to put things Into perspective.'
'Ok.' I replied, then I texted him back yes. We were going to meet up at 4:30 today at the park, Caitlyn was going to hang with Cameron whilst Matt and I talked. At 4:00 I decided to get changed, I'm not that kind of person who shows of or who go out of their way to stand out however I was so mad at Matthew that no wanted to make him jealous. I decided to wear my blue cocktail dress and blue high heels. I let my hair down and curled it at the bottom.
'C'mon Caitlyn; we're off to the park.' I yelled.
'On my way!' Caitlyn replied, then we set off. I was incredibly nervous as we reached the place where Matt and I decided to meet. I was dreading seeing him again, it hadn't been so long since we broke up and deep down I still loved him, he was the guy who broke my heart. I actually thought he might have been the one. We arrived at the park, Caitlyn went for a walk with cam so I walked to the centre of the park alone.
'Is it too late to walk back.' I thought. But it was, Matt was ahead, I could see him. He was sitting on the grass floor, leaning against the tree. Even though he was far away I could tell that he was crying. I held my breath and walked towards him. The closer I got the more I was able to make out his facial features.
'Omg! Has he always been this hot?!' I thought. He looked in my direction and stood up.
'Hi Mollie.' Matt waved, wiping tears away from his eyes
