The park was deserted so when we arrived there we all ran to the swings. My and Matt arrived there first so Shawn pushed Matt on the swing and Hayes pushed me.
'So, are you and Matt dating? He told me the you guys kissed! He hasn't stopped talking about you ever since the day he met you. You are all he talked about to me and the other boys in MagCon (our vine group).' Hayes said. I was gobsmacked, I didn't know what to say to that. I was... overwhelmed that Hayes told me that Matt talks about me.
'I don't know.' I replied, trying no to sound to happy.
'He hasn't asked me out yet and we have only kissed once.' I turned bak and looked at Hayes who was quietly giggling to himself.
'Whats so funny?' I asked.
'Oh nothing, it's just that... Well a little birdie told me that Matt might ask you out soon.' Hayes laughed.
'Oh my gosh, are you serious?' I said, trying not to sound too excited.
'Yep! Now SWITCH!' Hayes yelled and we switched places, Hayes on the swig and me pushing him. After about 5 minuets on the swings we went onto the climbing frame however Shawn wanted to write his new single so I agreed to write it with him.
'What have you come up with so far?' I asked.
'I have started the chorus, I'll sing it too you.' Shawn replied.
"Something big I feel it happening, out of my control,
Pushing pulling and it's grabbing me, feel it in my bones." Shawn sang.
'Wow, that was amazing, you have a beautiful voice.' I commented.
'Thank you, so has Matt asked you out yet?' Shawn asked.
'Not yet.' I said a little huffy but still smiley. Shawn opened his mouth but Matt called me over before Shawn could speak. I ran over to Matt.
'Do you want to go for a walk?' He asked.
'Sure.' I replied. We walked and talked for ages until Matt turned to me.
'Mollie,'he said.
'I have known you for a few months however it has felt like an eternity. When I'm with you I feel like a completely different person, a happier, kinder person. Ever since the day I met you I knew I liked you so... Will you go out with me?' Matt asked nervously. He scratched the back of his neck and looked down at the floor.
