How often do you play a game? Do you play to feel like a kid again? Or do you play because you just got sucked too much into adulthood and you'd just like to have fun?

Bakit nga ba tayo tumitigil sa paglalaro? Is it because we've grown up and have to face the harsh realities of life?

The better question though, is when do we begin playing again?

"Never have I ever kissed an officemate." sigaw ni Melai.

Medyo tipsy na ito at halos magkabulol-bulol na. She drank her own shot with her never have I ever dare.

The game was simple.

You go around everybody stating a fact, or a dare, or a funny experience. Kung nasubukan mo na, you have to take a drink. Pag hindi pa, don't drink and you have the choice to ask questions to expound the whole conversation.

Lahat sila halos ay uminom except for Travis and me.

I turned to Sari who was also slowly taking her drink.

Pang ilang bote na niya iyon, pero tila hindi ito nalalasing.

"Oh, we have a few virgins here then." it was Tracy.

"Naku, eh fresh grads eh. So of course hindi pa nakakasubok yang mga yan." Melai started to drink another shot.

"Well, why don't we get it into a dare?" Jeremiah started teasing everyone.

"Jeremiah ha. Nandiyan ka na naman sa mga dare mo."

"Cool ako." Travis' eyes were focused on just one person, Melai.

"O sige nga. Dare. Kiss Melai."

Medyo lasing na din si Tracy na nang mga oras na 'yun ay lumalambing na kay Jeremiah.

"Oo ba."

Without any hesitation, Travis came closer to Melai and started pulling her close to him.

In a quick second, they were at each other mindlessly. Sucking each other's lips like it was their last day on earth.

Naramdaman ko ang dahan-dahang pag-iling ni Sari sa tabi ko.

She slowly stood up and got out of the booth. Nang lumingon ako kay Jeremiah ay tumango ito. Para akong batang humihingi ng permiso.

I stood up while Travis and Melai were already almost making out.

I got out of the booth and looked for her.

Ang bilis naman yatang nawala.

"Looking for me?"

Napahinto ako sa kinatatayuan ko nang marinig ko ang boses niya.

I turned around and found her leaning against a wall just beside a can for cigarette buts.

Naisilid ko sa bulsa ko ang mga kamay habang tinatanaw siya.

She looked so simple as she was standing just a few steps away from me. Her white v-neck collared shirt fitted her so well.

She stretched her arms out with a cigarette pack, offering it to me.

Dahan-dahan akong lumapit at inabot ang pakete. I grabbed one and lot it up with the lighter that came along with the cigarette pack.

"Bakit ka nandito?"

"I wanted to check on you. Baka kasi lasing ka na."

She chuckled, and boy it sounded so crisp.

"I don't get drunk. Not very easily. Medyo nadudumihan lang ako sa eksena."
