Stacy was declared positive with COVID.

Now, they were all in Team Huddles to talk to everyone and ask if anyone has made contact with her on the days that she was sneaking out.

About four people from the kitchen staff expressed that they were exposed, while about two of their employees also said they've had an interaction.

Every one of them will have to take the COVID test to see if they are positive.

"We still have no news from the hospital of Stacy's whereabouts. For now, all we know is that she will be held in quarantine until further notice. For now, I'd like to reiterate to everyone that we need to follow all the mandated health protocols to make sure we don't get compromised. Safety is the number one priority. If you don't care enough for yourself, care enough for others who are breadwinners of their families. Do not compromise anyone."

Those were the words she emphasized during their call.

"That was really direct to the point Sari. Thank you." she heard Austin as they were the only ones left in the zoom call.

"It was how I thought it should go."

"How are you?"

She hesitated to answer him. Kahit pa man hindi na siya konektado kay Dash, hindi niya pa din magawang kausapin siya ng bukal sa loob. Or maybe she just doesn't know how to.

"I heard from Shane that you and Dash broke up."

Noon lamang siya napa-angat ng tingin kay Austin. His stern face on the computer screen made her heart beat double than normal.

Then she smiled meekly.

"Are they together or something?"

"Something I guess."

"Good. It's at least one good thing that happened after all of this. Aside from Melai and Travis' wedding."

"How do you feel right now? About all of these?"

"Overwhelmed. Of course. I never thought that the first time that I would take on the role of an Operations Manager, this is what's gonna happen."

"Challenging?"

"A bit. I didn't even thought myself as someone who would take on this role. I didn't even expect to see you again."

He chuckled on the other side of the call.

"I've always been wondering when you'd say that."

"Ang alin? That I never thought I'd see you again?"

"Yeah. I actually thought you'd just choose not to talk to me forever."

"You do know I have no choice on this matter right? Ngayon pa nga lang, I wanna get out of this zoom meeting but I can't because I am talking to my boss."

"You always have a choice Sari. You're never one who would not fight for her right to choose. You have always been very independent."

She smiled. For the first time since they've met again, she only felt like smiling this day.

"Finally." he smiled boyishly on the other end of the screen.

"Finally what?"

"I can't believe that I am finally seeing that smile again."

"Magpakasaya ka, limited edition 'yan."

"Grabe ka naman."

"Syempre, limited edition yan. Hindi pinamimigay." she felt different, just being able to talk to him right now.
