CHAPTER 17

Everyone was in disbelief at how the Emperor Travis treated the Empress. When they expected him to act cold and merciless, only to see him act...different around the empress

But there is also one problem...and that's their Emperor

They all thought, noticing the fierce glare Claude gave Travis

"Hahaha! Your have quite the humour Emperor Travis!"
Selene felt at ease when she conversed with him. Still the same...

"Hehe, only two people can have the privilege of making me laugh...that is you Empress as well as...someone dear to me"
His tone lowered at the end of his words

Selene remained silent for a moment before speaking up once again
"Is that so. Well then Emperor Travis...when are you going to meet up with Claude on his office?"

Is he had time, she would like to show him the garden. Their favorite place in every palace they go to when she was Isabelle

"Hmm..I still have a few hours. Emperor Claude told me that he had a couple of business to attend to. Well I'm glad he does. That way I can spend time with the angelic Selene De Alger Obelia"
He grinned at how easily flustered Selene could get. Her cheeks redder like a cherry and her heartbeat thumping harder than usual

'How could my beautiful First Star become such a flirt?!'
She covered her face in embarrassment

"S-since you still have time..w-would you like to go to the garden with me?"

Travis looked at her in silent before nodding. Yet he wouldn't get up

'..The garden must remind him of our time together'
Selene forcefully grabbed Travis's hand and pulled him to get up and lead him to her favorite blue rose garden

"Come on Emperor Travis! We don't have all day!"
"Come on First Star! We don't have all day!"

'Why...even the words, the look, the smile'
Travis stared at awe as Selene turned to face him with the smile he knew so much. His Isabelle's smile

"First Star!"
"Your Majesty!"

He snapped in his thoughts to see Selene concerned for he didn't respond to her

"Are you alright Emperor Travis?"
Selene finched when Travis gently took her hand and kisses her palm

"Call me Travis Empress...and I'm alright"
His blank stare seemed different from earlier

"Well..since you gave me permission to call you by your first name, feel free to call me Selene if you want"
The warm atmosphere he once felt was present. He felt at ease when seeing Selene smile gleefully

Claude continued his unfinished work before meeting Travis. But really, where is Selene?

"...Uhm..the Empress is currently in the garden with Emperor Travis—"
Felix yelped when Claude suddenly stood up and walked outside his office
