"Are you ready, Empress"
They took out a syringe which held a suspicious substance. Selene stared at it, her eyes watering, the bright Selene was not there...she clenched her teeth and whimpered slightly in despair. She knows this was a bad idea...but she doesn't have a choice
"Yes...You may proceed"

A few weeks later
"Thank you for letting me stay here in the palace, Your Majesties. I hope to meet you once again"
Travis took Selene's hand and kissed the back of it
'Yes...the warmth...I hope to feel the warmth you constantly provided me, Selene...may we meet again by fate'
He looked at Claude who stared at him quite... fiercely. It's more of a glare than a stare though. Travis chuckled lightly before getting in the carriage

"Hm? What did you say?"
Travis perked up at the news..she survived?
"As I said, when I saw the Empress once again, she looked..normal. It's as if my first meeting of her and having that odd feeling about her was just a hallucination"
The knight had his head down, his sweat dripping to his chin as he listens to his master got silent and laugh like a maniac once again a few minutes after
"I wonder how she got away from THAT...could it be her divine magic?"
Travis rubbed his hands together and leaned further from the seat. The same thing Marian got affected with that made her kill Isabelle...it's already immune to Selene?
'Well...your not that useless, are you?"

"Look! The Mistress is now hanging out with the Empress! They look close"
"Hmp! I bet the mistress manipulated the Empress into liking her just like His Majesty"
"Just like I always say..she doesn't know her place"
They might not know how to shut their mouth, but at least Diana knows how to close her ears
She laughed along with the empress at the Empress' most favored place, the Rose Garden. She sat at the bundle of roses with Selene as they conversed about their lives. The young princess on Selene's belly was growing so fast that Selene couldn't sleep because her little princess kept kicking
"Empress, have you been sleeping well? You look tired"
Diana asked in worry, placing a hand on Selene's shoulder. Selene placed a hand over hers and smiled gently in response
"I'm fine, it's just the baby–"
Before she can continue, she felt a kick on her stomach, she bent down from shock
"EMPRESS! ARE YOU ALRIGHT?"
"She kicked"
"Huh?"
Selene held her stomach, the other hand on Diana's hand
"Feel it Diana! The baby kicked"
Diana's eyes light up from what she said and proceeded to place a hand on Selene's belly. Feeling a kick from it, she flinched and laughed at the same time
