Tahlia's POV:
The next few days go by in a blur. Maybe because I have been keeping myself occupied with creating lessons for school, and spending time with Ariana that I have lost track of time.
Today it's Saturday, and the students go back to school on Monday, which is exciting as the past couple of days have been boring without the students.
I have made numerous lesson plans for my different classes. Including one for my two year 11 psychology classes that I have had to pick up this year, on top of my two year 12 health classes.
The original psych teacher that teaches year 11, Brittany, went on maternity leave so it left me, the only other qualified psychology teacher in the school to teach the year 11's.
They might even give me another year 11 class if the year 12 psych teacher, Stephanie doesn't wanna teach.
But it's fine, I really enjoy teaching psychology as I haven't taught it in ages. Besides, I like the extra challenge of teaching four classes.
I found it weird how both Marcus and Em have been asking me about James, these past couple of days. Like, they never mention him unless I do, so it is a bit weird.
I did open up to Em though, telling her that I have been ignoring him and the reason for it, and she was very understanding which was good.
I decide that there has been enough planning for the night, and head downstairs where Em and Marcus are watching a movie.
I snuggle on the couch next to them, as I tune into the movie clueless. Definitely Em's choice of movie.
"Done for the day?" Marcus asks and I nod.
"Yeah, I have tomorrow to continue everything anyway."
"Fair enough. But don't over do it too, there's still plenty of time."
"I know, Marc." I say and he smiles.
"Just don't want you to over work yourself."
"I love how you care about me so much."
"Well, it's my job." He says and I smile, leaning over and placing a kiss on his cheek.
"Hey Tahls would you mind getting us some snacks?" Em asks.
"Sure thing love birds." I say getting up and walking over to the kitchen and opening the cupboard that has all the snacks in it.
"By the way, when are you two planning on having kids?" I ask and I hear them both chuckle.
"It's in the works." Em says and I hear Marcus scoff.
"It's a bit hard when we never have an empty house." Marcus says.
"Yeah maybe you should spend a night at James' house. Sure he'd love that."
"Mhm." I say as I grab some barbecue shapes, and a packet of microwave popcorn. I place the popcorn in the microwave, setting it for 3 minutes, before carrying the shapes over to where they are.
"What's mhm?" Em asks.
"It's mhm."
"I feel like you never see him anymore." Em says and I shrug.
"We're busy people." I say and they both nod.
I get back up, walking over to the microwave and grabbing the popcorn out, before pouring it into a bowl and walking back over to the couch, hogging the bowl to myself.
"How rude of you to not offer us some popcorn." Marcus says and I chuckle.
"Well, I am the number one popcorn lover so you guys get left overs."
