Kaimana Valencia | April 1997

Zaiyah was gone.

She had been taken by four of Kaimana's mates—Flynn, Kehlani, Cardin, and Jaxon—and they fled with her for protection. To protect her.

Kaimana didn't know where, nor did Draco or anyone except the four. And it was better that way.

Kaimana had packed a bag full of necessities Zaiyah would need for a few days, and Flynn told her he'd be able to purchase more if needed and leave no trace of a transaction.

Kaimana kissed Zaiyah and hugged all her friends before they fled at nearly five in the morning, before anyone was supposed to be awake.

Draco had said goodbye to Zaiyah the night before, holding her as she slept and then kissed her goodbye once more the morning Kaimana left his dorm with their daughter.

Another thing Kaimana noticed was the Golden Trio sneaking in and out of the Room of Requirements with other students to practice more dueling.

She actually didn't know if Harry found out the reason why Voldemort was back, but she didn't care. She only cared that everything would be okay in the end, and she truly did believe it would all be okay.

She had to throw on a face of casualty and normality, so that was what she did. With Meleah and Quinn in the Great Hall, Kaimana ate breakfast.

"What did you tell everyone when the four left with Zaiyah?" Quinn's voice shifted to a whisper, leaning forward.

"Told them it was none of their business," Kaimana replied, and bit into her banana.

From across the room, she saw Adrian Pucey watching her eat the banana. He and his friends were all watching actually, snickering and whispering like immature fucks.

Kaimana turned her entire body to face him, the banana in her mouth as she took a bite. She slowly pulled the banana out of her mouth, giving the immature group of boys siren eyes.

This earned whistles and more snickers from the group of childish pricks.

So for her last bite, she plucked the small piece between her fingers and plopped it into her mouth, still looking directly at the boys.

She stuck her finger in her mouth to lick the residue from the banana, and did it with every finger until she reached the middle. Slowly and provocatively, she stuck her index finger in her mouth too, sucking her fingers slowly.

Seeing the boys laugh and whisper with wide eyes, she pulled her fingers out of her mouth and kept it in front of her lips, every finger down except her middle.

Then for spice, she took her banana peel and chucked it right at Adrian's stupid face.

"Next time it's a hammer I throw at your face, Pucey," she called out, jaw tight.

His friends laughed around him, Adrian looking abashed as he wiped his face with his sleeve. He turned away, face flushed.

Kaimana's eyes moved and captured pale blue one's at the Slytherin table. Draco was smirking, amused. He glided his tongue on the inside of his cheek as he shook his head and bit into his green apple.

She smiled back before engaging in the conversation with her mates.

"I think we should... maybe we should skip classes today," Meleah suggested and cut into her pancake with the side of her fork. "Let's get Elijah and Ais, and we all go to Hogsmeade for some reckless spending."

"That sounds like fun." Kaimana tipped her head back to drink water from her goblet.

"Let's have some fun, yeah." Quinn nodded in agreement.
