My hands are sweaty and numb. I am staring blankly into our room. I heard noises and hushes from my seatmates. Our professor isn’t here. He should be here. He should be here. I can’t clearly hear them or I wasn’t even listening at all. All I care is that my whole body is numb. My knees would wobble if I stand, if I am able to stand.

“Oh so Sir Fullbuster is involved in a scandal.” One of my classmates said.

My mind cleared when I heard that. I sat up straight and nervous. Earlier while we are having a class, Gray was called by some staff from the Dean’s office. I looked into Gray’s expression. He wasn’t expecting to be called.

“This time?” He asked, looking at his watch. He was a bit irritated.

“Yes, it is very important.” The staff answered. Gray just nodded. I suddenly feel nervous. I don’t even know why but I am nervous.

I saw him glanced at me before saying to class that we will have a three-hour self study in his subject. He knew he will be gone long. Then, after he was called, the speaker that was rarely used made a sound. The speaker was used to make an announcement and is mostly used when there is an emergency earthquake drill. This time it isn’t a drill. It was an urgent announcement.

“Levy McGarden, please proceed to the Dean’s office.” The speaker said. “I repeat, Levy McGarden, proceed to the Dean’s office, immediately.”

I was clueless why Gray and Levy are being called, at the same time. I was beginning to think bad things. And I don’t know why. It has been an hour since it happened and my mind is restless. What is happening? Why is Levy and Gray being called? Did Levy do something? She’s a good student.

“Did you hear? Levy and Sir Fullbuster are in a scandalous relationship.” Someone whispered at the back. I immediately turned my head around them.

“What? Oh my! A student-teacher relationship.” She whispered. Then, she looked at me. “Aren’t you friends with Levy, Juvia? Is it true?”

 “Where did you hear that?” I asked, shocked that I was calm in asking. But my throat hurts.

“Someone saw Sir Fullbuster going to Levy’s apartment. And someone confirmed it. It was Prof. Fullbuster’s car and he was found in a fancy restaurant last Valentine’s night.” She said.

It feels like cold water has been showered into me. I couldn’t breathe. It feels cold. They were right. Gray went to Levy’s house. No. Gray and Levy aren’t in relationship. Gray went to Levy’s house to pick me. Gray went with me in that restaurant.  No. Levy is being accused of things she didn’t even do.

“Is it true?” She asked. I didn’t pay attention to her. “Are you hiding their relationship?”

“Tell me, is Prof. Fullbuster a romantic man? You’ve been with them right?” I couldn’t take it any longer that I stood up. I force myself to stand up.

“Hey!” She shouted. I don’t care.

I stood up and picked my bag. I ran from the classroom. Tears are starting to formed. I was walking with a blurry vision. I need to get out. I need to get out of here. Levy was being blamed for things that she didn’t even do. It wasn’t Gray and Levy. It was me and Gray. I walked faster. I need to get out of here.

“Juvia?” I saw Jun but I walked past at him. I don’t have time to talk. I need to get out of here. From where I couldn’t here gossips about Gray, I need to get out. I need to run away.

 My heart is beating fast. I feel cold. This is so depressing. Surely, Levy could make an excuse from it because she wasn’t guilty. She didn’t have a relationship with Gray. I was sure of it. My mind was clouded up with things I couldn’t decipher. I heard how people make gossips about Gray and him dating a student. It was horrible. His reputation is at stake.
