Today is the second day of school. I walked pass through the hall. I looked at the students. They were all doing their business. I saw some in the hallway walking through their own classes. As I looked at them, I wonder if someone noticed me. Or someone knows me. Maybe, I may have encountered them in some of my classes last semester. But no one seems to know me here.

I shivered as I remembered what they said. It was nerve-wracking I couldn’t even process anything. I still couldn’t believe it. I had been here over the last six months and I don’t know anything? That was they told me yesterday. That was Gajeel, Levy and Gray had been hiding from me.

“I want to know what happened.” I said as Gray let go of his hug. He pulled away from me and looked at me. He was hesitant.

He sighed. “Okay.”

“Juvia, are you sure about this? You – “ I interrupted Gajeel.

“Gajeel, I’m okay. I don’t understand why you kept this from me. So I must know now.” I said and then he sighed. I heard him cuss and walked away from the infirmary. “Call me if you need anything.”

Gajeel looked at Gray. Gray nodded. When Gajeel and Levy went outside the infirmary, Gray sat on the chair beside the table. He faced the chair in the side of the bed where I was sitting and he sat there.

“I don’t honestly know where to start, Juvia.” He said. He rested his elbow on his knees and rested his head on his forehead. “You may not believe me.”

“Try me,” I said. He looked at me. Oh those eyes.

“Okay,” he sighed. “You can tell me to stop whenever you can’t take it.”

I nodded.  Then, he started.

“Gajeel and I were friends before I met you. We met at the guild. Remember those guys at the dinner?” I nodded. “We already know you by that time. We all know what happen to you before you moved here in Magnolia. We helped Gajeel because he said it will be good for you to be in a new environment. We met six months ago when Gajeel introduced you to us. It was like the dinner you remember. It was exactly like that.” I saw him smile like he reminisce some parts of the memories we had. It was weird but I felt his happiness.

“But it isn’t. We talked that night, the six months ago that you can’t remember. You were shy at me when we first met. You said you feel uncomfortable with me because of what happen to you.” He said. “You said you feel uncomfortable with any guy. But I just have to erase that uncomfortable feeling of yours. And yes, we dated.”

My eyes widened. My heart almost jumped out of my chest. We what? We dated. My cheeks blushed. Oh really? We dated. Oh my God! I saw his wide smile as he saw my expression. I heard him chuckle.

“You can’t believe it, right?” He asked.

“U-uh…I don’t know.” I looked down. He sighed then continued.

“You enrolled here in this university last semester. I am already a professor when you entered here.”

“Does that mean-?” He nodded like he already knew the answer to my question.

“I was your professor in one of your subject.” My eyes grew wider and wider. I could not believe it. I dated him before. I dated my professor before. Isn’t that prohibited?

“Isn’t that against the rule?” I asked. Yes, it is against the rule. It is almost a taboo. A student can’t date their professor. Does Levy know it? Gajeel too? Even the whole guild?
