Chapter 13

I stood there as I’ve watched him walking, with his bare back. I was shocked. I am still holding his shirt. What am I going to do with this? When he noticed that I wasn’t walking with him, he turned to face me. He was a little distant to me now. I saw irritation in his face. Then, he walked to me again.

“Why are you still standing there?” He asked. I could not help but notice his body. It is perfect. I suddenly feel nervous. What? Why?

“Come on, Juvia.” He said and he held my hand. My body flinched. My face heated. He was about to pull me to walk with him but then he stopped his tracks. He looked at me and I’m still holding his shirt.

He hissed. He got his shirt. I am really stunned right now. “Where are your clothes?”

“It’s in our room.” I answered. Earlier, when I changed into this, I left my clothes in our room. I only wore this swimsuit.

“Then you have no choice but to wear this.” He said and he put his shirt on me. Oh my God! My face heated up even more with what he did. I couldn’t move.  I just let him put his shirt on me. Goodness.

“We are not the only one in this beach, Juvia. The guild didn’t rent the whole island. Some guys may see you, wearing that. And I don’t want that. I don’t want to go to jail today, Juvia.” He said as he looked into my eyes.

His face is so close on me when he put the shirt on me. His eyes looked serious when our eyes met. His gazes are melting me. It is like looking at the inner depths of my soul. It is like giving me a message which his eyes can only say. I slowly breathe. I could feel my heart beating fast. I also felt him slowly breathing into mine. Where inches apart.

Then he raised his hands and put it against my cheek. We’re still looking at each other’s eyes. It seems that I’m drawn with his gaze. I’m drowning with his stares and it’s alright with me. I felt warm inside my heart. I could feel my heartbeat beating faster and faster even before. When his thumb caressed my cheeks, I automatically closed my eyes.

God! Is this what it feels before? Is this how Gray holds me before I lost my memories? I don’t want him to stop.

“Juvia! Gray!” We heard a shout and that made me opened my eyes.

I looked away from Gray and pulled away myself from embarrassment. My face still heated up.

“Sht.” He cursed. Then, he turned his head to Loki. “Yeah, we’re coming.” He shouted.

“Oh! Shoot! I’m sorry! Didn’t mean to disturb, dude. Yeah, continue that and we’ll wait for you.” Loke shouted and he laughed. I blushed harder. Oh damn.

“Shut up! That’s not what you think!” Gray shouted. And we started walking.

“Yeah, whatever. You said. ‘You’re coming’” Loke continued.  I closed my eyes from embarrassment. What is Loke saying? Gosh!

“Shut the hell up, Loki! You’re screwed when I get there!” He shouted.

I quietly walk until we came to them. When we came, I already found them eating. They looked at us with weird glances.

“They’re here. You better eat now before the food runs out.” Natsu said while munching his meat.

“Yeah,” Lucy agreed. “And nice shirt, Juvia.”

My face heated. I forgot that I am wearing his shirt. That’s why they are giving me weird looks. I suddenly feel the urge to change but I am starving.

“The stripper had come. And he landed very possessive.” Loke teased and Gray punched Loke’s head. Loke didn’t mind the punch but laugh instead. Everyone, who heard, laugh too.
