“Are you okay now?” Trina asked me. I nodded.

She sighed in relief. “Thank God! We’re gonna have a hard time replacing if you weren’t well this week.”

This week will be the University week before we go on a vacation for Christmas and New Year. Last week was our exams. Fortunately, my other professor gave me a chance to take an exam. Of course, I was sick last week. It was just a cold but Gray take it seriously he had to made the letter himself, give it to Gajeel and gave it to my professor.

“Gray, I can go to my class and take my exams.” I said. I was already done preparing myself to go to my class when suddenly he appeared in front of our door.

His face was serious. And mad at the same time. “No. Go inside, you might get flu in here.”

“W-What? Gray, it’s just a cold. And I have a jacket and scarf. I also had some water and medicine.” I said.

He shook his head and walked towards me. He gently pushed me inside our home. I felt like a kid being dragged.

“Gray…” I protested. But he had a hard grip in my shoulders. “I’m okay.”

“No. Not until you have colds.” He coldly said.

“Today is our exam day in literature. I have to take that test!” I protested but Gray managed to drag me inside.

“I already told Mrs. Lopez that you are sick. And I gave her your sick letter. She might take into consideration of giving you an exam next week. We have talked, Juvia. All you have to do for today is rest. You won’t go to Mira’s bistro, too.” He said like he was in control of all things.

I sighed. I faced him and I can see his handsome face. His eyes that express many things, his pointed nose, and his red lips. I can almost faint in here. “You don’t have to do that.”

“I have to. You’re sick.” He said, worriedly.

I shook my head. This guy is crazy. “It’s just cold, Gray.”

“I know. But prevention is still better than giving it a cure.” He held my face and looked at me as if I was melting. I might get flue right now. “You still have colds and look at you, you’re face is hot.”

I panicked and pulled away from him. Oh gosh! He looked surprised when I did that. I looked down shyly. It’s not the cold that’s why my face is hot. It’s because of his stares.

“W-What’s wrong, Juvia?” he asked. I shook my head.

“Nothing. It’s just…i-it’s…” I stuttered.

He sighed and held my arm. He gently led me to the couch. “See, you’re still sick.” He made me lied on the couch and he touched my cheeks.

“I told you…” He smirked at me. I think all my blood went up to my face. He kneeled on the floor as he caressed it. I couldn’t help to close my eyes. It really feels good.

Then I heard him laugh. I quickly opened my eyes and felt embarrassed. Why is he laughing? I stared at him with confusion and he smiled at me.

“Damn. If I was sick, I’ll probably be sick all week.” He chuckled and kissed my forehead. “Or I think I’ll just pretend to be sick to see you. I can imagine it. You taking care of me…” it was almost a whisper but I heard it just right. And that whisper, I think, is so hot.

“You stay there, rest, sleep. You’ll be absent today until you get well. Okay? I’ll be here. You can pretend to be sick too. I don’t mind.” I blushed harder when he said that.
