Episode 17: The Start Of The 2nd Event

-2nd floor starting town-
3rd person pov

We see the trio in the middle of the crownd in the town square waiting for Drazo to start the event

"Its my first event, so I'm a little nervous." sally said as she looked around the massive crowd gathered around

"Its about the same amount of participants as the first event." void said looking around as well

"As I thought, everyone will participate in the event." maple said also looking around the amount of players logging in and talking to their party members

"Krom!" maple shouted as she saw krom walking by

"Oh! Its been a while! I see you got a new shield." krom said as he went up to us

"Yeah! Its so I could use foul feeder when I really need it!" maple said with a smile

"Oh? Are these two the friends you've been talking about?" krom asked looking at the sally and I

"Yes, this is sally and void." maple said pointing left then right

"Wait, you heard about us?" sally asked looking all nervous and void just shying away to maple's back

"Oh, its nothing. Hehe" krom said with a nervous laugh and a sweat drop

Then the four heard shouting, they looked towards the noise and saw a group of people with the same red outfits surrounding a girl who looks like their leader, as she was atop a rock giving a speech about letting the players know about the kingdom of the flame emperor and burning the land and sky with their passion

"There really fired up!" maple said

"That group's called The Kingdom of the Flame Emperor." krom said

"Flame Emperor?" sally asked looking at krom

"Flame Emperor, written with the kanji for Flame and Emperor. The leader's a really powerful fire-wielder. Her name is Mii, she was in fifth place in the previous event, but she's really strong." krom said

"Mii! What a cute name and she seems amazing too." maple said with a smile

As the four of us were looking and listening to mii's speech, we heard drazo

"ROAR~! The countdown for the second event will start-dra! This event will be a hunt! Your going to for the 300 silver medals scattered throughout the field that you will be teleported to. Collect 10 of them to get a gold medal. After the event you can exchange the gold medals for skills and equipment-dra!" drazo said

"Wait... isnt that the same coin we got at the previous event?" void asked

"Yeah, its the same thing we got last time." maple answered

"Those who were in the top ten in the previous event already have a gold medal. You can kill players and steal from them, or you can do nothing with them and just work on hunting for medals-dra!" drazo said

"So it wasnt just a memento after all." void said

"I was in tenth place, so I have a medal too. We just have to be careful not to let them get stolen." krom said looking at us

"Yes." the three of them said

"Time for the countdown!" drazo said
