Episode 27: Is This A Fight?

-Maple Tree Guild House-
3rd person pov

It was only an hour away before the cow bell event will take place

The members of the maple tree were doing last minute preparations for the event

MP and HP bottles stocked up, plans reviewed and the teams were set

Each member of the guild with one of void's elite knight or commander, accompanied with over a thousand soldiers ready for battle

Maple with DeCaY
Sally with Handsome Squidward
Kanade with Articuno
Kasumi with RedSanic
Krom with Anubis
Iz with Sylvan
Mai with Tusk
Yui with Iron

They'll be racking in the points while void and the rest of his army, will go and spectate their competition

As they waited for drazo to announce the event to start, void went ahead and got his supplies then went to keep an eye on the holy sword

-Timeskip-

After waiting for a while, drazo finally appeared and announced that the event is now underway

After the announcement was finished all the guild members splitted up with their shadow partners in their shadow waiting to be called at any moment in time. While before going any further sally messaged void about the event finally starting

They're plan was to basically gather as many cows then kill them all in one attack to save time and energy... And its working really well as they are collecting bells fast

-With Void-

We see void hiding in the shadows. No one can see or feel his presence as he waited for his prey to come out of their guild house and then follow them

As time passsd by he got a messaged from sally that the event is starting now and on que, The Hold Sword Congregation finally went out with their members

He trailed behind them as they went to the open fields as he watches from a distance while they hunt for cows

-Timeskip-

As time went on, void started to grow impatient as he only saw dred, drag, frederica and members of the congregation used skills

The skills void copied were only limited as he has limited supply of MP bottles

He only got skill like Fissure, Stampede, Godspeed and Multi Water Bullet

Wanting to see what kind of playstyle and skills payne has summoned Azazel, Igris, Tank, Kaisel and the remaining forces of his army

Void gave the demon king's sword to azazel and made the shadow hop on kaisel's back while igris and tank just stayed by my side to protect me incase things go south

He's senses started to go haywire making him look behind and saw that a member from the holy sword was making his way to his army

Not wasting time void hid above the trees as the poor lad was about to be scared to his next life

Void just watched as the unknown player made eye contact with azazel and started screaming as he ran back to the group

As void looked at his army, he gave the order to show themselves to the said number 1 guild and to wait for his orders to attack

-Middle of an Open Field-
3rd person pov

"I still cant believe that the girl I helped was actually maple." frederica said

"I still cant believe she got strong in only a matter of days." drag said

"Her guild is going to be troublesome, I could feel it." dred said as he was feeling that they were being watched for sometime now

Looking at payne, dred said "Payne, I'm still getting that feeling like were being watched. We should send someone to have a look at it."

"... I feel it too..." payne said as he looked around for any available member

"Steve, come here." he called out

"Yeah?" steve asked

"Can you get atleast 5 other members to accompany you to go look for any thing suspicious in the woods? It just that we feel that there might be something watching us is all and we want you to go see if its true or not." payne explained

"Sure thing but I can handle it on my own!" steve puffed up his chest then started to walk off

"Wait! Steve... and he's gone." payne said

"You should have sent either one of us to see what it is." frederica said

"Steve is capable of it. I'm sure whatever it is he can stall it for a while for us to come in and help him. Even if its a player or monster, he can handle it. What could go wrong?" payne said

Just then all the members heard a scream making them all turn heads towards it

They saw one of their members running away frantically stumbling here and there as the ground started to shake a bit as shadowy monsters started to come out of the forest

"Everyone! Prepare to fight!" payne shouted as they got into a formation

Then a loud roar can be heard from above making some of the members shiver in fear

As the congregation looked up and they saw a monster on the back of a flying dragon

"What is that?!" frederica shouted

"It must be some kind of boss!" dred exclaimed

"What do we do, payne?" drag asked

"You guus handle the army. I'll take down that thing above." payne said making everyone nod

Then a loud roaring can be heard from above making everyone look in astonishment as the sky that was blue a moment ago was blocked by a dark cloud with lightning coming out of it

As the monster raised its sword with a loud roar, the shadow monsters started charging them

Not wasting time frederica, drag, dred and the rest went to meet the monsters in the middle while payme was thinking of a way to get that monster down on the ground

"Frederica! Help me make that flying dragon land!" payne shouted

"On it!" fredirica shouted then used [Multi Water Bullet] only for it to have no effect on the dragon
then used [Multi Fire Bullet]only for the dragon to move aside

"What kind of monster is that?! My spell didnt even affected it!" she shouted

"Frederica its fine! I'll think of another way to het that monster down!" payne said

Then a loud roar can be heard making the members look at the sky and saw a large beam about to hit them

Dred used [Godspeed] and was able to avoid getting him just barely while drag and half of their guild got one shotted by it

"Everyone retreat!" payne shouted knowing full well they cant win against that monster

As the guild was trying to run away from the monsters, payne went into the fray and used [Holy Blade of Conviction] killing the shadow monsters in one hit making the rest of the monsters retreat

He paused then looked at the monster above retreating aswell

Finding it weird...

-With void-

We see void on his feet shocked that payne can use light magic as he wiped some of his monsters

He retreated his monsters back to his shadow and ran back to their guild house knowing wjat to expect from the Congregation of the Holy Sword next time they fight
