Episode 29: The Inter-Guild Battle

-Maple Tree Guild House-
3rd person pov

After days of collecting materials and leveling up, maple's guild is more than ready for the 4th event

We see our players in their home waiting for the 4th event to start

Not long after, kasumi tapped the table making drazo suddenly appear at the table and a message popped up

"Roar~ Thank you for your patience, everyone! I shall now explain the rules of the 4th event, the "Inter-Guild Battle". So listen up-dra~!" drazo announced with excitement in its voice making the players clap

"As stated in the announcement that was made in advance, you will not be allowed to step in or drop out halfway through the event. The duration of this event will be five days in event time-dra. Guilds will be split up into big, middle and small ranks depending on the prerequisites, and each rank will have a difference in the number of points to earn-dra. Each guild will have its own base, and they will be awarded points for defending their orb posted at their base or bringing other orbs to their base-dra. If your orb is with your guild, you will be awarded 1 point every 6 hrs. You will get 2 points if you're from a small guild and 1 point if you're from a big and middle guild. You will get points if you bring another guild's orb and guard it for 3 hrs. Please note that if it is taken back before the 3 hr timer is up, there will be no increase or decrease in points-dra. There are also death penalties. I'm tired from talking. If you have any questions just pull up the navigation screen-dra. Goodluck to all the participants-dra!" after that lengthy explanation drazo soon left in pixels leaving the members of the mapletree to talk amongst themselves

To summarize what they talked about. Everybody except sally, void, krom and kasumi will be defending the orb while the four go out and collect orbs and cause mayhem

Before the event can truly start, they all started preparing and checking their equipment and such

All the members went outside and did a team bonding exercise as drazo's voice can be heard officiating the start of the 4th event, the "Inter-Guild Battle" teleporting them to their base for the remainder of the event

-In a cave-

The MapleTree members looked at their new base as they all got into a circle talking about sticking to the plan

They all nodded and the four bid their farewells as the rest stayed behind and wished them good luck

The three went off first to find potential prey leaving behind void to summon all of his army in all of its glory. Leaving DeCaY behind in the cave summoning monsters to defend their base from the outside

As void took in a deep breath letting out smoke as he exhaled up to the sky

Looking at his army behind, planning on making himself well known in all of NWO as The Monarch

He raised sin high in the air and shouted "Let's show this noobs what it means to go up against a pro... Pure toxic gameplay!"

Making his army bang their weapons on the ground, their chest or their shields in excitement

With an army of over 12000 soldiers, 800 elites, 6 elite knights, 7 commanders and 1 grand marshal

Unknown to everyone in his guild or even in the whole game, the devs added a feature where you can boost your summons with a song in the devs words "To hype them up for battle"

In the time of preparation, void managed to create 2 songs that are both down right nerve chilling. One for entrance and another for battle, because why not

Waiting for the right time to play it just hotkeyed it instead

Void's plan was to destroy everything on his path, in doing so letting the players know who owns the monsters always seen in the map and on events and also cementing his name as one of the players that is on par with maple

Not wasting time started his march for world dominatio--- I mean orb collecting

-Timeskip-

We can hear voices shouting as they turn into particles "This is cheating!" "How can that girl summon so many monsters!" "What are the devs doing?!" "Why are there monsters on the map?!" and etc.

While void just looked at his inventory as he collected another orb making it his 10th while being guarded by Azazel, Igris and Beru while the others were massacring the whole entire player base

Void looked around to see there were still some players left. Wanting to look like a demon lord, made his troops round up the survivors

As the players were now surrounded by shadow looking monsters with a look of fear on their faces

Void went in front and said in a cute voice "Hi! The name's void, the monarch! Whatcha doing on this fine day?"

The players looked at each other confused

Showing off a malicious smile accompanied with an evil laugh, void said in a cute voice again "If you want to live... Go and spread the name void, the monarch to whomever you come across and tell them that if you ever cross him, be prepared to fight an army... Okay?" tilting his head in a cute manner

The players did nothing but nod their head as void showed them a way out in the middle of his army

As time went on, the players who were spared started to spread the name of void, the monarch to whoever was smart enough to listen to their warnings

The players who listened to their warnings, thought that it was just a trick to scare them, only to be attacked by the said monarch and his army. Again, keep survivors to spread the word about him even posting on the official forum about him

The entire player base was thrown into chaos as another player as op as maple has been identified and is on the same guild as her

The players started to think of void as another unbeatable player like maple

Making the entire player base afraid to attack MapleTree because of its members while others see it as an opportunity to make a name for themselves

And forcing the other guilds to fortify their defences in an attempt to defend from void's army

As the entire player base gave him the moniker of The Monarch
