Episode 22: Entering The Demon Castle

-2nd Floor Starting Town-
3rd person pov

We see 2 of our heroes logging in NWO on the starting town of the 2nd floor

"Its been three days!" maple exclaimed with a huge smile on her face

"Welcome back maple! Let me get straight to it. While you were gone they've added more new elements to the game." sally said

"New... Elements?" maple asked

"Yeah! There are golden insects called light bugs that appear in fields now. Catching one earns you the right to buy a guild home." sally said

"Guild home?" maple asked

"This city has many buildings that cant be entered, right? You can make one of those your own home. We've been staying in inns and huts up until now. But from now on, we'll be able to make a building our very own HQ." sally explained

"Wow! Then let's go find a light bug right away! But void isnt here yet..." maple said

"I thought you'd say that so void and I got one while you were taking a break. And void isnt here because he went in a dungeon that he's trying to clear, said it was called The Demon Castle. We also went to his floating island on the first floor and found out that he can shrink it into a model, that can be put inside the inventory and can move from place to place. Isnt it amazing!" sally explained

"Wow! I expected no less from the two of you. So where is this model?" maple asked

"I have it. He asked me to keep it safe when he's away. Well enought of that shall we go find our new home?" sally asked

"Yes! But what about void though?" maple asked

"Dont worry, he said whatever home we picked is fine with him." sally explained

"Then let's go find our new home!" maple exclaimed

-Floor 99-
3rd person pov

We see void sitting atop a pile of dead demon bodies as he watched his summons killing the demons mercelessly waiting for the demon who has the entry permit to die

-Flashback-

(Demon Castle Key obtained. You may now enter The Demon Castle. The location of the door will be shown in your map.)

Void reads the message while he holds the key on his left hand

After exploring the castle and obtaining the light bug with sally. Void explained that he wants to go solo for a while and clear a high leveled dungeon

Sally being lower leveled than void understood what he meant and goes off to get stronger as well

After stocking up with mp and hp potions, void set off to go to the dungeon, on the wings of articuno making it much more faster

After like 5 minutes, he already reached his destination only to be stopped by Fluffy from harry potter

Articuno made quick work of the boss turning it into particles, making the door available to open

Before void went near the door, he went to the orb of fluffy and said "ARISE!"

(Shadow Extraction cannot be used as the monster "Hell's Gatekeeper Cerberus" is contaminated)

Void sighed and said "I knew this wouldnt work... I cant summon monsters that are contaminated... Unless?"

Void got an idea

He went to his menu and went to where all of his stats and skills were

There he saw (Shadow Extraction: Let's the user summon the shadows of monsters killed. Cannot summon monsters with contaminated mana. MP:0)

He got a huge grin on his face and did a 1000 IQ move

He used [Skill Modification] on Shadow Extraction taking all of his mana but instead of looking sad and other negative shit, he had a shit eating grin plastered on his face

As the new skill read as (Shadow Extraction: Let's the user summon the shadows of any monsters killed. MP:0)

He popped an mp potion until his mana got full again just to be safe

He looked back at the orb and commanded "ARISE!" as the shadow danced around the orb as it took the form of the three headed dog, articuno just bodied

Then a message was shown saying (Extraction successful. The shadow's rank is "Elite Knight". Name the shadow.)

"What to name you? What to name you?" void said tapping his chin

"Anubis?... Yeah, I'ma call you Anubis!" void said proud of the name he thought as he typed it in

(Anubis Rank:Elite Knight) a message popped up

"I've been getting summon after summon without sacrificing any of the summons in the process... Wait a minute didnt I have like job exclusive skills that I havent read yet? Shi you fucking idiot. I should have done this from the beggining!" void said lightly smacking his head

As he opened his menu back up again and looked through his skills again and found the job exclusive skills, he hasnt read yet

(Shadow Save (Passive): Let's the user save a limited amount of shadows. The shadows will be stored in the user's own shadow. The amount the user saves depends on they're level.)

Void again grinned as he used [Skill Modification] again taking all of his mana again but it was worth it changing the skill to fit his heart's desires

As he read the new skill (Shadow Save (Passive): Let's the user store unlimited amount of shadows in their own shadow.) as he again popped mp potions until his mana became full again

As he returned anubis and articuno back into his shadow, he went up to the large doors with the key in hand, opening it as loud noises of machines were heard as it unlocked

The doors opened slowly to show a semi dark hallway as the only light source was the opened door itself

The hallway had statues of demons on the walls and a door on the otherside

"Woah... Now this is demonic as hell." void said as he looked around the hallway from where he stood

Then a message popped up saying (Quest: Collect Demon' Soul, Part I (10,000 Demon Souls). Rewards: Item of choice, +20 bonus stats, hidden reward. Do you accept? Y/N)

"Its been a while since I've gotten a quest... The rewards aint bad either." void said as he pressed Y

Void walked towards the other door opening it as he thought to himself 'This dungeon must be hard if the rewards are this good."

And there he stood, eyes wide open looking at what looks like a post apocalyptic world of NWO

Void sighed and said to himself "Why did I have to jinx myself?..."
