Episode 24: Shadows vs Demons

-100th Floor-
3rd person pov

Here we see a level 93 void looking around a destroyed castle when a loud shriek was heard from above came along with a bloodlust that made void shiver

As void looked above to see a figure perching down on top of a tower

There he saw a white wyvern and a shadowy figure with eyes red as blood, riding on top of the beast with long sword on his hand

As the monster's hp bar was seen along with its name

Void read aloud "Demon King Baran"

Then a message popped up (Quest: Collect Demon' Soul, Part 2 (Defeat Demon King Baran). Rewards: +30 bonus stats, Top tier rune stone, undisclosed. Do you accept? Y/N)

'This is going to be one hell of a battle' void thought aloud as he looked at baran then to the wyvern's hp along with its name kaisellin

Then void tapped on the Y button

"An enemy that can fly is really annoying to deal with." void said with a sigh

Then the wyvern suddenly went to the sky as baran raised his sword making doorways appear as out came demon knights and generals by a thousand

Void stood there looking unfazed as the army started to charge at him roaring as they do so

Void activated [MP Cut] [Pride] then [Monarch's Domain] as the army started to get closer to void

As the shadows surrounded the area, void shouted "COME OUT!!" as one of the demons were roaring trying to intimidate void was silenced as he was stab on the throat by a spear coming out from the ground

The same can be said for the rest of the demons as they were stab by the throat with spears coming from the ground as the shadow soldiers start to come out of the shadows

Then all hell broke loose as the shadow soldiers went on a rampage killing any demon that comes their way

The battle grounds were littered with bodies, vines and ice

'I think I over did it with the army I think...' void thought to himself as he watches Decay summon monsters. Igris slashing through their defenses. Tusk using [Hymm of Combustion] killing multiple demons all at once. Iron who was next to igris breaking their defenses as well. Tank just clawing his way through. Slyvan just using his vines. Articuno launching ice spikes after spikes. RedSanic looking like zenitsu but less thunder and wide awake(?), killing multiple of the demons too. While Anubis was guarding void as well as Handsome Squidward from void's shadow, using his tentacles to guard his master well

As the massacre continued, baran was seen mouth wide open with electricity coming out of it, then launched it to the skies

Forming black clouds striking thunder down to the ground stunning some of void's army

"An aoe skill that stuns multiple enemies... If I dont kill him now... I'll surely lose this battle." void said gripping sin and punishment tightly then activated [Agility] and [Stealth]

As he made his way to where baran was, jumping through rubble to get to him and top the highest tower

Then void used [Moonlight Sonic] aiming at the wyvern's wings only to be blocked by baran's sword

As baran used his sword to launch void back on the ground creating a crater around void

Baran opened his mouth wide with electricity come out of it again

Then launched it on void but this time destroying the ground as it hit

Void escaped at the nick of time running from the attack but to his surprise it didnt stopped once it made contact to the ground but instead followed him

"What the fuck kind of skill is that?!?" void exclaimed as he looked behind him

As void was about to get hit by the attack then out of nowhere tusk coming in clutch with the [Hymm of the Fire Dragon] meeting baran's attack putting it on a stailmate

Then baran's attack finally stopped but tusk's attack didnt giving him a clear shot of the wyvern

As the wyvern fell to the ground creating a dust cloud

Out came baran from all the dust and rumble. Void just stood there waiting for baran to come closer to him

"So you finally came down, huh? I was starting to get tired from looking up." void said with a smug look on his face

Then suddenly baran attacked with his electric mouth again, only to be stopped by tusk using [Hymm of Protection]

Some of void's commanders and elite knights used everything they got to defeat baran only to be sent back to void's shadow to wait for an hour

The only one's left were decay who was summoning monster to battle the rest of the demon army. Tusk who was protecting void. Handsome Squidward who was using its tentacles to attack baran. Anubis who was charging in to attack and articuno who was in its enhanced shadowy form

Void saw that baran had some of his generals behind him not wanting to fight any longer used [Binding Chains] on baran and his generals

Not wasting any time made tusk use [Hymm of Combustion] on them killing the generals and in the process killing baran as well turning them into particles leaving behind their orbs

The only one's left were the rest of baran's army. Void's army made quick work of that

And here we see void standing in front of baran's orb looking at it with greed with the message on the side saying (You're level has increased to lvl 97) (Quest: Collect Demon' Soul, Part 2 (Defeat Demon King Baran) Complete. Rewards: +30 bonus stats, Top tier rune stone, undisclosed.)
