Chapter 15: Secret Dating

After Casey leaves her office Kari starts to freak out a little bit. Does Casey know already? Is it even possible she knows that quickly? Does she have superpowers? Or cameras everywhere?

She immediately texts Jooyoung.

-I think Casey knows. - Kari

-How? We just started dating 30 minutes ago. - Jooyoung

-I don't know, but she came talked about the No Dating Clause I have in my contract. - Kari

-Maybe it's because I sang my confession to you? – Jooyoung

-I guess that could be it. – Kari

-Don't worry too much Kari. Everything will work out. – Jooyoung

-We just need to keep our guard up around Casey and be extra careful. – Kari

-We will. I love you :) – Jooyoung

-I love you too! :D – Kari

After ending their chat Kari finishes her work and a couple hours later she and Casey leave to go upstairs. When they get to the elevator the doors are already opening. Zico and Jooyoung are about to step out, but upon seeing the girls they step back in and give them space to board.

"This is weird now right?" Zico asks as they begin to move up.

"Very," Casey replies.

"Why is it weird?" Jooyoung asks, a questioning look on his face.

"You two were colder than Antarctica to each other just a few hours ago and now you are fine. It's weird not being in an awkward silence between the two of you. Or having both of you mad at us for interfering," Zico tells them with a smile.

"Sorry about that Zico, we know you two were only looking out for us. We are just really stubborn people," Kari says with a laugh as they exit the elevator and enter the apartment.

They all laugh with her before separating to do their own things before dinner. Casey and Zico went to the kitchen to try and figure out what to cook while Jooyoung and Kari secretly met in Kari's room to talk.

"It's already killing me that we can't do normal couple things like holding hands on the elevator," Jooyoung whispers in complaint as soon as the door is closed.

"I know, but we have to do this until we are prepared to tell Casey about us and persuade her to get rid of the No Dating Clause," Kari comforts him.

"You should rest, you worked your ankle hard today. I'm going to get you some ice," He tells her, making her sit down and prop her ankle up.

He leaves quickly and returns with the ice.

"I'm going to stay out for a while so Case isn't suspicious, but I did tell Zico about us dating earlier. He said he will help distract Casey so that we can go out some," He tells her before kissing her cheek and rushing out of the room.

Kari smiled at his goofiness while she began to ice her ankle.

Jooyoung ends up taking over dinner preparations as an apology for acting so badly towards Casey and Zico. He sends them to the living room to rest while he cooks. They sit on the couch and watch tv with they wait. Suddenly Zico leans close to Casey and whispers in her ear.

"Now that we aren't worrying about those reconciling, do you want to worry about us?"

"W... what?" Casey stutters out.

He smirks at her.

"I told you before that I like you, I was hoping that you've been thinking about me. I know I have been thinking about you," He whispers to her.
