"I understand that there is a bit of an incident going on in the news in association with Chanyeol and Baekhyun," Casey begins after they are all seated.
"Yes, but I don't see how that is your problem," CEO Lee states abruptly.
"Like Casey said earlier, we are here on behalf of Chanyeol and Baekhyun. Besides, you haven't exactly been handling this situation all that well," Kari says angrily.
"It's our problem because we have a signed contract with Chanyeol and Baekhyun," Casey says before CEO Lee can make a retort.
"That's not possible, their contract with us isn't up yet. They can't have a contract with you," CEO Lee says smugly.
"Chanyeol and Baekhyun signed an exclusive and special contract with Triple F Entertainment," Mr. Lee says from the couch.
"What kind of contract?"
Mr. Lee hands over the papers Casey had Chanyeol and Baekhyun sign just moments ago. CEO Lee reads over them and slowly becomes red in the face. The more he reads the redder his face becomes. Before long it looks like CEO Lee's going to explode.
"This can't be legal. I'm calling my lawyer and I'm suing Triple F for an illegal contract. And I'm suing Chanyeol and Baekhyun for breach of contract," CEO Lee exclaims loudly.
"Go ahead CEO Lee. Call your lawyer. You're going to need him," Casey says with a calm smile.
CEO Lee jumps out of his seat and sets to calling his lawyer. As he does so the three young men sitting opposite them begin speaking with Chanyeol and Baekhyun.
"Things could have been okay had you just signed another contract, this never would have happened. But had you started talking with other companies about leaving," Suho says angrily.
"Shut up Suho. None of you know what its like being like this. They knew our secret and threatened us with it every chance they got. It's not right or fair. We have to get away from here. Even if it means the end of our careers in entertainment," Chanyeol spits at the leader of EXO.
Suho looks down at his hands at Chanyeol's words.
"Chan, Baek, we just want whats best for you. We didn't know they treated you that way. Why didn't you come to us? We could have helped," Kyungsoo says to the boys quietly.
"We didn't want you involved. It would have been bad for you too. We couldn't do that to you," Baekhyun replies.
"You must think we're idiots, never noticing what SM was doing to you," Sehun says guiltily.
"Boys, don't beat yourselves up over this. Let's just get through today," Kari says with a smile, trying to give them hope.
The boys give her weak smiles but continue feeling guilty of ignorance. The group grows silent as they wait for CEO Lee return. They don't wait long before the door opens and a man enters. He walks straight to CEO Lee and shakes his hand. He then turns to the rest of the group to introduce himself.
"Hello my name is Choi Hwanchul. I am SM Entertainments lawyer," He says before walking over to Casey and Kari to shake their hands.
After shaking hands with the girls Mr. Lee stands up to greet Mr. Choi. Upon seeing him Mr. Choi pauses and the pleasant smile on his face falls. A nervous look flashes across his face before the pleasant smile returns.
