Chapter 10: Confession?

Kari can see that Casey is thinking hard about whether she should tell them where she has been. Kari didn't even know what Casey had been up to. Instead of questioning it she decides to help Casey out.

"She went to meet with a family member," Kari answers for Casey while giving her a sly smile which Casey returns.

"That must have been nice," Zico comments.

"Uh, yeah" Casey says trying to not let her true feelings out.

When they finish eating Casey pulls Kari to her room and sits her down.

"Okay, tell me where you went," Kari demands quietly, in case the guys try to listen.

"Suwon," Casey answers mysteriously.

"Seriously Casey, spill it," Kari says, unamused.

"I'm serious, I went to Suwon. I met Changwook there..."

"WHAT?" Kari yells.

"Shhhh!" Casey says covering her mouth. "We met with our lawyers." Casey continues.

"Oh," Kari says, still surprised. "What happened?"

"He finally signed divorce paper," Casey says with a small smile.

"That's great!" Kari says excitedly. "Now you can date Zico."

Kari gives Casey a big smiles, but Casey just looks at her like she's a bit leery.

"What now?" Kari asks.

"I have to tell him that I was married and that I was just now able to get a divorce. I don't know how he will react to that," Casey admits.

"If he is as wonderful as I think he is then he won't think it's a big deal and you two will move on. If I'm wrong then you won't loose sleep over it," Kari tells her frankly.

"So you're saying I should tell him before we really start anything?"

"Get it all out in the open from the beginning."

"What about you?" Casey asks, hinting to Kari's own secret.

"That's not a beginning of the relationship kind of information," She replies with a smile.

Before leaving Casey to decide how and when to tell Zico about her divorce Kari stops by the door and gives Casey a mischievous look.

"You just admitted that you like Zico."

She leaves and Casey covers her face with a pillow in embarrassment.

Later...

Monday shows up for everyone in the seventh floor apartment. They are all aware of how busy the next week will be are they know that they will be spending their every waking moment working on getting everything ready and perfect.

Casey spends the entire week running around the company checking on everyone, or in her office checking paperwork. Kari is always at the venue overseeing set up. The four of them mostly contact by text except for odd moments when they are able to see each other.

Zico starts working with the girl group that will be debuting on the night of the showcase that Kari has named Pink Sugar, despite their hardcore rap image. Jooyoung is busy with all of the trainees since he has made it his mission to make them shine before debuting.

On Thursday Casey's finishing paperwork on her desk when she remembers she has a meeting with her lawyer. She grabs her purse and heads out of her office. Jooyoung walks in before she can leave.

"Can we talk for a minute? Its kind of important," He says nervously.

"Sure, what is it?" Casey asks.
