Chapter 28:The Not So Good News

Casey and Kari bid goodbye to Mrs. Park at the lobby with the promise of letting her know when she can release the story.

"Okay guys, you are going with Kari out the back. There is a van waiting to take you o your dorm. Get packed as quickly as possible and we will get you out of there as soon as possible." Casey tells the group.

With a nod from Kari she leads them away with three of the bodyguards that brought Casey and Kari in. Casey looks out the windows at the now larger crowd. She takes a deep breath, squares her shoulders and walks out.

She was mostly ignored by the angry fans. Since they don't know what she just did they have no reason to pay much attention to her.

She safely makes it to her car and drives away after instructing the two guards that escorted her out to follow behind her.

Meanwhile...

EXO-K and Kari quickly make their way to the back entrance of the building. When they exit the van is waiting near the door.

"Where's Casey?" Zico asks when they are all inside.

"She's going to meet us there in her car." Kari replies as she closes the door.

Zico gives her a nervous look as Jooyoung drives towards the dorm.

They reach the dorm soon after leaving SM and sees abut 10 girls with signs yelling up to the boys dorm windows.

They go inside and hurry up to the boys dorm on the third floor. The group enters the dorm and immediately begin packing up their things. Jooyoung, Zico and Kari follow behind and begin helping the boys pack their suitcases.

Casey walks into the living room thirty minutes later with several boxes and packing tape.

"Casey's here!" Jooyoung shouts as he walks in the room and sees her.

He takes the boxes and tape from her as Zico comes in the room.

"So..." Zico starts.

"I know what you are going to say. I should have brought you or at least told you what I was going to do, but I didn't really think before I acted," Casey tells him.

He steps closer to her and wraps her in a hug.

"I'm just glad everything worked out."

"SM is going to retaliate. I don't know how exactly, but they may go after you and Jooyoung to get back at me and Kari. They know about us, CEO Lee said as much," She tells him as she hugs him back.

"We will deal with it when it happens, we can't worry about things we can't control," Zico says wisely as he pulls away from their hug.

"Are you two going to help or are you going to hug in here all day?" Kari asks as she pulls a suitcase into the room followed by Chanyeol.

With a laugh Zico left the room to finish what he was doing before Casey arrived. Casey walks to one of the bedrooms and sees Suho and Sehun packing up their things.

"Do you need any help?" She asks from the door way.

"No ma'am. We're almost about finished," Suho answers formally as he and Sehun greet her.

"There's no need to so formal Suho. Just call me Casey," She says with a smile.

They smile back then return to packing. She moves Kai and Kyungsoo's shared room. They accept her offer of help and quickly get the room cleared out. Once everyone's done packing and they have everything out of the dorm Casey and Kari meet outside.
