Surprisingly enough the phone call Casey received was a good one. One so good she's feeling okay about the situation everyone is in. She feels like, for the first time in weeks, she can breath a little easier. At least when it comes to the company. With Zico's predicament she doesn't feel good at all.
Her heart still hurts. It's only been a few hours and she feels like he broke up with her just a few moments ago. The pain is harsh. She knows she's going to keep feeling pain every time she sees him. And since they live in the same apartment and work together she knows they will be seeing a lot of each other.
That's where they new building she purchased comes into play. It's right next door to Triple F and is already prepped at an apartment complex. With only a few construction changes needed she will be able to move their artists there soon. After talking with a construction company and having everything set and scheduled Casey sent out a mass text so she could let everyone else know about her new decisions.
Casey gathered her gray schedule book and phone before making her way to the practice room. When she entered the room she was greeted by EXO-K and the few trainees inside. She sent them a smile then quietly sat on a bench to wait for everyone to show up.
Slowly people begin to enter, each person greeting her as they walk in. Eventually Zico, Jooyoung, and Kari walk in, Zico following behind Jooyoung and Kari who leads them over to Casey. Kari immediately goes to Casey's side as Jooyoung gives her a hello. Zico stays quietly by them and tries to catch Casey's eye, which she refuses to give him.
"Hey," Casey greets.
"Hey? Really that's all your are going to say? You aren't going to tell us what's going on?" Kari asks perplexed.
"Sorry Kari, I'll explain it once everyone's here. Don't worry though, its all good news," She replies with a genuine smile.
Kari lifts her eyebrows in surprise while Jooyoung nods his head, trying to understand what Casey's up to. Zico remains quietly nearby while he listens to what Casey.
Once everyone's in the practice room, which is now almost too full of people, Casey stands up and gathers everyones attention.
"This meeting may have come as a surprise to a lot of you. And I'm sorry for the sudden interruption from all of your schedules, but I have some news I would like to share," Casey starts. "I just got a call from another entertainment company that's been keeping an eye on our situation. This company is reaching out to help us get through our current predicament."
"You're not thinking of selling out right?" Kari blurts out suddenly.
"No! Never. Yang Hyunsuk from YG Entertainment called and offered to host a press conference for us. So we can get our side of the story out. Of course the press won't know they will be there for us, but they won't be able to leave without hearing us out first. YG has some news they are going to announce at the end of our portion of the conference, so if the press wants that information they'll have to stay until the end to hear it. They won't have a choice but to listen to what we have to say," Casey tells everyone.
She looks at EXO-K to see smiles on their faces. Kari looks like she'll explode from happiness, Jooyoung too looks happy that we finally get to tell our story. By chance Casey sees Zico's face and he looks nervous.
Maybe he's worried about how things will go when the media finds out that she and Zico broke up. Maybe it's something else altogether. She decides no to think too much about it. Casey turns back to the group who's now talking amongst themselves, happy that the situation's finally going to be resolved.
"I have one more announcement," Casey says loudly, in order to get them quiet again.
"More good news I hope," Jooyoung says, smiling.
