What She Wanted

Chapter 21.

      "I... I..." Ethan leaned back and looked at the floor. "I'm... I'm sorry. I just..."

      "It's fine. I'm just gonna go..." May replied. She got up, grabbed her phone, ans went out the door.

      Back at her place, May got an icy glass of lemonade. She sat down on ger couch and turned on the TV. Shw flicked through the channels as Keeping Up With the Kardashians played. She stopped on the Harry Potter marathon. It was right in the middle of Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban.

      She didn't know what to do about the whole Ethan situation. She really liked him, but she didn't know what Patricia would say or do if she found out Ethan was dating her.

      All this thinking was making May loose focus on the most important thing, watching Harry Potter.

      The next day, May decided to go down to the pool on the third level and take a swim. She didn't want to do anything active. She was tired. She stayed up all night long watching Harry Potter until six in the morning.

      On her way down to the pool she passes Mr. Sleer. "Hi, May!" He said, he was perky, as usual.

      "Hey, Mr. Sleer," May replied.

      May walked into the pool room to find a huge pool, a hot tub, and a water slide! She looked around and only saw a couple people. As her eyes glanced over the slide, someone came down. She looked back over to see Ethan's body smacking the water. Sploosh!

      Well that ruined my swim. She thought. May didn't really want to be around Ethan after what had happened the night before. May was still undecided about her emotions. Shw didn't know whether to be happy it happened or upset. She wasn't ready for this kind of thing. She came here to participate in an art contest, not fall in love. A million thoughts came swirling into her head.

      Should I, or shouldn't I?

      What would Patricia say?

      And then the biggest question of all them...

       Do I love him?
