Chapter XII

Sunoo's POV

After we said our introductions to one another, we also finished eating. My two friends were getting ready to leave. "Wait up Jungwon and Ni-ki!" I called out, "We didn't get to go to our last destination because of that incident earlier and I don't want the plan ruined just because of a stranger. Can we still go to the last place? If both of you are okay with it." I pleaded.

"Of course Sun!" Jungwon responded, Ni-ki also giving a thumbs up. "Oh but before we go..." I added which made them tilt their heads.

Sunghoon's POV

After we ate, Sunoo's friends including him, went into a spare room to get ready to leave. The four of us stayed at the dining area, fixing up and cleaning the area. Jake started up a conversation, "So that's your cutie." I felt my cheeks heating up. Not today Sim Jake. "How about you? Your new BFF Ni-ki, what's next?" I teased back. I suddenly felt a hand on my shoulder, also seeing a hand on Jake's shoulder.

"Stop bickering with each other and get back to cleaning." Heeseung ordered both of us. We immediately went back to cleaning, not testing Heeseung's patience. Sunoo came into the room,

"Would any of you be interested in hanging out with us?"

I answered back with a question, "Join what? What's happening?" He explained how they still plan to go out, not wanting the day to be wasted. Jake, Jay, and Heeseung agreed to come since they didn't have any other plans. I also joined because I was still worried for Sunoo, who knows who we'll encounter. Also because I had nothing else to do.

"Great! We're gonna have so much fun!" Sunoo cheered in delight. There's my cutie.

We traveled to a mini-amusement park. "Seriously? Out of all the places out there, why an amusement park." I quietly complained. Sunoo spoke next to me, "You don't like amusement parks?" looking kinda dejected. "What? No of course not! I said 'Yay an amusement park!'" I lied. Heights weren't really my thing per se, it's just that I'm deathly afraid of it.

"No use getting afraid Park Sunghoon, face your fears! For Sunoo!" I thought to myself, trying to think positive.

We first went to the souvenir shop since Sunoo clearly showed to us the importance of head accessories when in an amusement park. We went in, I was amazed at how many animal ears were available. Jake picked out an antler headband for Heeseung, putting it on his head. Heeseung was surprised at the younger's action, nonetheless allowing Jake to put it on him. Jake being satisfied at what he picked out, complimented it on how good it looks on Heeseung. Heeseung turned around, probably to hide him blushing.

Meanwhile, Ni-ki picked out a dog ear headband for Jake. Jake did the same to Ni-ki, picking out cheetah ears. The two laughed at each other, amused at how they looked. Heeseung left the two of them alone to pay for the headband, looking down in the process. What a complicated love triangle.

Jay and Jungwon surprisingly clicked with each other, picking out matching cat ears. They seemed to be having fun. Both of them mocked one another, impersonating cats. To be fair, they do look like cats. Sunoo still hasn't picked one, probably overwhelmed by the choices. He muttered to himself, "This one or this one? Hmm... No, doesn't feel right." I chimed in,

"This looks the best for you." I put on his head a fox ears headband. I took him to a mirror for him to see, "See, you look cute in them." I commented. He checked himself out, not fazed by what I said. No reaction?

He went on a search again, this time picking penguin ears. He went near me and tiptoed, trying to put it in my head. He looked at me from head to toe, judging my appearance. He spoke,

"Heh, penguin Hoon. You look like an actual penguin Hoonie!" He smirked.

My face was flushed, not expecting the sudden nickname.

Hoonie huh... Only you can call me that from now on, Kim Sunoo.
