Chapter XXX

Sunoo's POV

A date?! I've never gone to one!

"What are we gonna do?" I asked Sunghoon. He spoke, "That's a secret~ So, what do you say?" I was excited at the thought, me and Sunghoon on an actual date. "Okay Hoonie, let's do it." He jumped with joy and embraced me, "You won't regret it cutie, I promise you." I couldn't help but smile at his delighted self, "Looking forward to it Hoonie."

Not before long, it was already time for everyone to leave. I went outside of my classroom to see Sunghoon waiting for me. He walked to me, "Let's go cutie?" I giggled, "Let's go!" He held my hand and led me outside. There was an expensive-looking car waiting for us and I'm surprised we went there. He took out a key and unlocked the car. "Our butler drove it here, I decided to borrow it for our date." Sunghoon explained.

Like a true gentleman, he opened the door for me before going on to the driver's seat. I'm seeing new sides of Sunghoon every day. He drove with one hand on the steering wheel, and the other holding my hand. He looked ethereal as he drove, my heart couldn't help but skip a beat at the sight.

"I'm gonna melt at your stare cutie." He commented. I realized I stared for too long and I immediately looked ahead on the road to prevent myself from starting too much at him. Seems like we're going out to a rural area, there were fewer buildings to be seen.

Sunghoon parked near a beach, we must be having our date at the beach. To my surprise, we didn't go to the beach but to an area where there are a variety of flowers on a field. Sunghoon spoke, "Sunoo, meet my first love." I could see the tombstone that had the name of Sunghoon's past lover, "Pia Choi"

Sunghoon's POV

To be honest I was nervous when I brought Sunoo here. I didn't know how he might take it but he needed to know about it, about her. We were quiet for a while but then he spoke, "Do you have a candle Hoonie? I want to give my respects." He smiled at me, I took it as a sign that everything was okay. I brought out the candles and we knelt at the tombstone. He clasped his hands together and closed his eyes, I did the same.

"Pia? It's Sunghoon here, I'm here with my new beloved. His name is Kim Sunoo. After your... death, I thought I would never love someone again. I couldn't bear the thought of losing someone just like with what happened to you. Sunoo changed that, he changed my life for the better just like you. I'll be sure to take care of him, to always make him happy. I won't make the same mistake I did to you. I hope you're happy up there..." I let everything out, including the emotions.

Sunoo leaned against me, patting me in the back. This time he spoke, "I'll make sure to take care of this big penguin, so don't worry up there." I sobbed harder, Sunoo accepted the wrongdoings of my past. A gust of wind suddenly blew by us, the flowers moved because of it and so did their petals. When there was no more wind, petals were gliding down by us. Petals surrounded her tombstone with us in it. It was like Pia was giving us her blessing.

Sunoo's POV

After we paid our respects at Pia, Sunghoon then led me to the beach where there was a picnic set up. Sunghoon sat down and he signaled me to sit by his side, "Thank You cutie, I really appreciate what you've done for Pia. Thank you for accepting my past." He kissed me on the forehead. "Anything for you Hoonie. Thank you for also confiding in me something you have buried for so long."

We ate as we watched the sunset and I spoke out loud, "The sunset's always pretty..." Sunghoon suddenly stood up, grabbed my hand, and led me near the water. His hand went to his pocket and brought out two square cases. He opened it and revealed two necklaces. One necklace was a sun and the other was a snowflake. Sunghoon spoke, "Look here cutie, the sun necklace has your name on the back engraved. The snowflake has my name on it. You melted my cold self, lighting up my world." He took the sun necklace and put it on me, I did the same to him.

"I love you Sunoo, the love of my life and my cutie."

"I love you too Sunghoon, let's make our Last Memorià together Hoonie."
