Far away in a lost and dark forest in the human world, a griffontaur sits in front of a fire, covered in scars and old wounds. It lifts it head as it looks up at the trees surrounding, its face concealed by its hood. It sat there for a while before standing up, putting the fire out and grabbing a few supplies before heading out to an abandoned cabin and looks around. It searches through drawers, and it eventually finds a bag of gold coins and places it inside it's bag and heads out the forest to a market filled with humans. As it walks, its prosthetic back left leg creaks as the metal was being moved, and it walks to a man who was selling wood and approaches him and he acknowledges the figure, "Evening." The figure nods at him, acknowledging back.
He looks at the leg, "I see it's still holding up." The figure nods and looks around, "What was that about, the blacksmith you were talking to me about last week? I'd like to meet him now." The man looks around, making sure no one was listening, and he leans forward, "Head towards east and he'll be in an old shack in the woods. It will be the first thing you see when you get there, he'll be able to get what you need." The figure nods and thanks him before heading out, going east to the woods to see this blacksmith and see what they can get.
The woods weren't like any other, it looked like it was immediately night all the time, there was barely any life due to all the bare trees and little vegetation. The griffontaur continues forward, looking around and being cautious until it sees the shack and goes inside, the light was on but it seemed like no one was there and the girffontaur speaks, "Hello? Anyone here?" It looks around and was about to leave when there were footsteps and a voice, "Need something?" It turns around to see a man covered in soot, and he walks over, and the griffontaur nods, "I need you to forge something for me."
He chuckles, "I can forge anything sweetheart. Be specific for me will ya?" The griffontaur pulls back the hood and looks at him, "I need a sword that can pierce through my enemy's heart." He smiles at her, "I see. Planning a kill eh?" Keres nods, "Everything I had was taken away from me years ago...I lost my friends, I felt weak and humiliated, I even lost my leg for crying out loud. He took everything away from me....now I wanna take everything away from him. Everyone and everything he loves...before I stab him through his heart and send him back to where he came from." The blacksmith looks at her, "I see. Well, the type of sword I can make takes time. A long time to perfect the magic in it. A couple years at that, if I calculate correctly."
Keres sighs, "I don't care how long it takes, I will kill him and take everything he loves! As long as this sword works, I'll be happy with whatever you can make!" The blacksmith raises his hands, "Calm now. It also takes time to train with it as well, especially in the hands of a centaur like yourself." Keres sighs, "I just want it done." He crosses his arms, "And the payment?" He watches as she places the bag of coins onto his counter and he smiles more, "Pleasure doing business with you." Keres nods, "Let me know when it's ready." He nods and watches as she leaves the shack and goes back to her camp and sits down, relighting her fire. She stares at it and she growls, "Nowhere King...I will take everything away from you...just you wait."
