By the time Horse along with Rider and Waterbaby had gotten to the portal, Keres and her herd were gone and only Elk's dead body was left. Rider covers her mouth, "Oh my god....what happened in here?...." They all look around and Waterbaby examines his body, her eyes widen at his wound and she covers her mouth, shaking her head. Horse walks over, "What is it?" The hippotaur sighs, "Whatever killed him... it went through his heart.....and I don't know if Adalie would be able to bring him back to life again... Whatever the weapon was made of, it was powerful enough to kill completely and take the magic away." Horse's eyes widen and she covers her mouth with her hoof, "So... so you're saying that..." Waterbaby nods, "I'm afraid those kiddos won't see their dad's face or hear his voice ever again..."

Horse sits and she touches the elktaur's motionless body, and lowers her head, "We can't just leave him here like this... There's gotta be another way to fix this!" Waterbaby shakes her head, "I'm afraid there isn't.... I think he's gone for good this time... and he won't be able to come back unless some miracle happened." As they all look around, black ooze seep from the floor and the ceiling and start moving towards Elk, making Horse and Waterbaby jump out the way. The black ooze covers the elktaur's dead body until he was in a shell like state, before it slowly seeps back, and there was nothing but the puddle of blood left over. Horse shakes her head, "What... what just happened?"

Waterbaby looks at the pool of blood, "I.... I think a part of him is.... healing himself. I don't know for how long..."  Rider walks over, "So.... part of him is taking him back to heal him for god knows how long... but... where?" "Probably to the darkness of the void again." Waterbaby looks at the other portal behind them, "They must've gone into the human world. There would probably be more places to hide there." Rider frowns, "Those poor kids must be absolutely traumatized....poor things..." They go through the portal and look around, and Horse manages to see Keres in the far distance and gasps, "There!" They follow Keres at a safe distance, watching where Keres was taking them and Rider sees the twins.

"Oh those poor children...." They watch as they go into the woods and see Keres's camp, and the minotaurs unload the cages and set them down near the fire, and Keres puts down the bloody sword on the table, and holds the key as the woman's wrists and ankles were tied and she was set beside the cages, while Horse, Rider, and Waterbaby hide and watch them. The twins shake in fear as Keres holds the key near them, "So, like I said, this was the same key that your father used to become the Nowhere King. Splitting himself in two, and one was corrupted, and the other was full of pride. Did you know when a centaur is split, if you kill one, you kill the other?" The twins had tears in their eyes as they cower in fear, and Adalie grips the cage bars.

"Please, they're just children! They don't deserve this!" Hadeon puts his knife blade against her throat, and Keres smiles, "They're his offspring. I thought they would want to follow in daddy's footsteps." Divoky cries, "I want my daddy!" Aldara shakes, "I want daddy to!" Keres growls, "Well guess what? Your daddy is DEAD! And he won't come back, and thanks to this sword, it's confirmed. Made in the human world with centaur magic." She points the key at them and it starts to glow, "I always wanted to know what a hybrid between an elktaur and a horsetaur would look like split up." The twins shake as she points it at them, and it glows brighter, but it gets knocked out her hand by a plant bomb and she coughs when it explodes in her face and she growls, seeing Waterbaby, who was staring her down, "Oh no you don't. You're not laying a hand on those two kids with that key!" Keres growls and points at them, "GET THEM!" The minotaurs go for them and things start getting real.
