Days turned to months, and months turned to years. Six years passed and a lot of changes had happened. It was a beautiful sunny day and Elk walks around the rift, watching as centaurs and humans walk around, chattering and he continues walking, four pairs of small hooves sneak behind him. He walks near the portal door, and he looks at it, trying not to remember. His thoughts were interrupted when he heard small giggles behind him and little shushes. Elk smiles, and he whips his head around, "Boo!" The twins burst out giggling and hug his legs and he picks them both up.

Elk laughs, snuggling them as the sounds of their laughter brought him joy. He sets Aldara and Divoky on his back and walks on, carrying them. Divoky carefully climbs onto his dad's back and hangs onto his antlers, giggling and Elk chuckles, "Careful Divoky. I don't want you to fall." Divoky giggles and he peeks his head through Elk's antlers, "Hey dad? Do you think I'll grow antlers when I'm older? Or even a beard like yours?" Elk shrugs, "I don't know. Only time can tell." He continues walking and Divoky smiles, "I hope I grow up to be almost as big as you." He slides down, gently bumping into his sister and Elk smiles, "We never know. I'm sure you might." He looks around, "Where's your mother by the way?" He hears Adalie and she was helping an older human woman gather her things and helps her to the portal and she sees Elk with the twins.

"Hey hun. I told the kids to find you, and I saw this woman having some trouble so I thought I could help her." Elk nods, "It's fine. I'll help as well." He helps carry a basket and they go through the portal with the old woman. Elk walks slowly, shaking his head as he starts remembering everything, splitting himself in two, being trapped....he didn't want to remember it. He felt a small tug on his vest and he looks over at his back, seeing Aldara looking at him with a worried face. He smiles and catches up and sees Adalie helping the woman loading a small cart and Elk places the basket. The woman smiles, "You centaurs are so sweet. Thank you." Adalie smiles, "Of course." The woman guides a donkey that carried the cart and walks away, and Elk and his family go back through.

Divoky carefully slides down his dad's back onto the ground and runs around, laughing. Elk watches him chuckling, "What are you up to?" The young hybrid looks at his father, and makes a silly face, "Na nana boo boo!" Adalie picks up Aldara and holds her as Elk chases after Divoky, and she laughs, "Awww." She follows behind them while carrying Aldara and Elk scoops up Divoky, laughing, "Gotcha!" Divoky laughs and he wraps his arms around Elk's neck, hugging him, having a big smile on his face. They continue together walking around the rift, not knowing that someone was watching them from above.
