After dinner me and Lucas headed back upstairs to check on the baby.

"She's still asleep." I smiled. Lucas smiled. We both stood there for a bit just watching her sleep.

"What should we name her?" Lucas asked. I shrugged. "I like the name Aaliyah." Lucas said.

I smiled." That's pretty." I told him. "Aaliyah it is." I rested my head on Lucas shoulder. Lucas put his arm around me. I smiled. Lucas phone vibrated he pulled out his iPhone 5s and read the message.

"I have to go. My mom wants me home." Lucas told me.

I nodded. I followed Lucas to the backyard. I watched him jump over the gate and into his house. Before he walked in he turned around and waved. I smiled and gave him a small wave.

The next day during lunch I sat with Stefani, Liset,and Karen, four of my best friends. When I moved here they were the only four girls who wanted to be friends with me. From our table I could see Lucas and his friends. Every now and then we would catch each other looking at the other but I would quickly look away. I looked once more but saw he & his friends were gone. I turned my attention back at Liset who was telling the story of her little brother how he fell in the baby pool just the other day. I was quite bored so I spaced out a lot but it isn't much new for me, I get bored very easily. I felt someone come up behind me and poke me. I jumped. I turned around and saw Lucas. Right behind him were Qin, Christian, and Marcus.

I smiled. "Hey, what's up?"

Lucas and his friends took a seat at our table. Lucas shrugged. "Just wanted to say hi." Lucas didn't look at me. He was to busy looking at what I was wearing. I had my hair in a side ponytail, blue ripped jeans with a black shirt under my grey hoodie. I wore my black vans.

Lucas looked back up at me. "Where's Aaliyah?"

"My mom didn't work today, so she's with my mom until schools out." I admitted.

Lucas nodded. "I was thinking maybe I could come over today to help with Aaliyah."

I nodded. "That's fine."

He smiled.

The bell went off to tell us 5th period is over. Me and Lucas walked to 6th period together.

After 6th period I waited for Marcus to walk with him to geometry.

"Hey Kim."

"Hey Marcus."

"What's up?" He asked.

"Nothing. Just waiting for this day to end." I admitted with a sigh.

Marcus smiled. "I know right? I'm glad it's Friday." I nodded in agreement.

We got to our seventh period. Me and Marcus sit right by each other, which works out perfectly on test or quizzes. Whenever we need answer we got each other back. Plus we're each other tutor whenever we don't get something, it truly works out.

After school was over I waited for Xavier by his car.

"Kim!"

I turned around and saw Lucas.

"Oh hey."

"Hey, I'll be over at five I gotta help Christian with something."

I nodded. "Alright then. I'll see you at five."

"Thanks Kim."

Xavier came by the car and unlocked it.

"What was that about?" He asked as we got in the car.
