I sat down in Aaliyah's room feeding her. I watched her take the baby formula. Lucas took the week off to help me with her. My grandparents are coming in today and Lucas went to go pick them up.

I smiled at Aaliyah. She's all mine. She's my baby.

"Aaliyah, I want you know... I'm your mommy and since I'm your mommy I want you to know you can always come to me for anything you need." I stroked her hair. " You're so beautiful. I already know your going to be a heartbreaker. Which is okay because their boys, they can take it."

I heard the front door open and then my grandma yelling "Where's my great granddaughter!?!?"

"Uh-oh. Someone wants to meet you." We stood up and walked to the living room. My grandparents saw Aaliyah and took her from me.

"What's her name?" My grandma asked me in Spanish.

"Aaliyah. " I answered.

"Y donde esta Leah? "My grandpa asked. "We need to met her son."

"Um, she's at home." I said. I walked to the kitchen sink and washed the bottle I was just using.

"Por que?" My grandma asked why.

"Um, because I never told them you were coming." I said to them.

Lucas was now holding Aaliyah and he looked at me then to my grandparents as we talked.

"Kimberly why would you do that?" My grandma asked.

"Well they don't talk to me." I shrugged.

"This is still going on?" My grandma asked Lucas. He nodded. "Ay Kimberly, You need to talk to them! They're your brothers & sister!"

I rolled my eyes.

"Kimberly don't roll your eyes at us! You know it's true. It's time to end the feud."

"Don't tell me that! Tell them that. They're the ones who don't answer our calls." I said. "Xavier tambien, that fucking asshole. So much for blood eh?"

"Kimberly don't say that about your brother!"

"He wasn't there when Aaliyah was born! He wasn't there to see me as my belly get big! He wasn't there for any of it!" I spat.

"Kimberly you need to forgive your mother. She's your mother! You share blood just like your brothers & sister."

"I only share blood with one of them." I muttered.

"That's your family! and you never turn your back on family."

I looked at my grandparents straight in the eye. "You're right. But they turned their backs on me." I walked to the living room & picked up my car keys.

"Where are you going?" They asked.

"To get Zach, the only family I have who still hasn't turned their back on me." I kissed Aaliyah on the head and then kissed Lucas. "I'll be back." I whispered to him.

He nodded.

I got in the car and drove to Liam and Xavier apartment. Once there I pulled out my phone and texted Zach I was here.

He came out shortly after but with Leah, Xavier and Liam. I saw Leah carrying Brandon. I saw Jason and Jason waved at me.

"Hey Kim!" He ran over to my window. I lowered the window so we could talk better. Zach got in the car.

"Holy shit! You had your baby!" He pointed to my baby. "When did you have her?" Over my shoulder I saw my brothers and sister staring at me.

"Uh last Wednesday. I just left the hospital yesterday." I said.
