"Baby!" I called out to Hershey. He ran over to me and put his paws on my shoulder so he was standing wagging his tail. "Hi baby! Where's your daddy? Why is he taking long?" Hershey barked. "Where's daddy?" Hershey ran around the apartment. He's three years old and he's still a hyper puppy.

For my nineteenth birthday, Lucas had surprised me with a birthday dinner. It was amazing because everyone I loved were there. Stefani, Christian (who now recently moved in together.) Liset & Karen (who share an apartment right down the street from us.) Marcus, Qin, Dari, Cyrus, my brothers and sister. Everyone was there. Oh then after the party, me and Lucas found a cat. We named her Ashes because she's all grey.

The door opened and in came Lucas. He took his shoes and coat off.

"Hey babe." Lucas came over to me and kissed my cheek. "How are you feeling?" Hershey ran over to us and sat on top of Lucas.

For the past two days I've been staying home because every morning I'm greeted with a good morning vomit. How nice.

"I'm better..." I said as I wrapped my arms around him. "But I could use a stay inside day order pizza and cheese fries while we watch Netflix..."

Lucas smiled at me. "You got it." We sat on the couch and stayed there until the pizza got here.

The next morning I woke up perfectly fine. So I got up and got ready for work. Once I was at work I saw Liset and Karen there.

"Kim! You came today!" Karen ran over to me.

"Hi Karen!" I said.

"Kimmy!" Liset ran over to me.

I smiled.

"Girls I don't pay you, to stand pretty! Get back to work!" Yelled our boss Henry.

We rolled our eyes but did what we told.

The whole day I was perfectly fine until around noon, I puked. Actually for the next two days this happened.

"Kim..." Karen said scared. "Are you pregnant?"

I looked up at the mirror and saw Karen expression was serious. The last time I... We done it was a month ago...

Oh fuck me. I gasped and began to cry. Karen quickly hugged me.

After work that day I got home from work with two pregnancy test I picked up from Walgreens. I went to the bathroom and peed on the test.

I quietly sat on the corner of the bath tub and waited for both test results.

Once my phone timer went off I stood over the sink looking at the results, I heard the front door open. "Babe! I'm home." Lucas called out.

I didn't call back out to him. I just stood over the sink looking at the test.

"Babe?" Lucas knocked on the door. "I picked up groceries."

I nodded but then I realized Lucas couldn't see me. "I-I'll be right out."

I heard him walk off to the kitchen. I picked the test up and stared at it. I didn't realize I walked out the bathroom and I was in the kitchen.

"You should of seen Marcus at work today-" Lucas stopped talking.
