"Why don't you baptize Aaliyah the day we baptize Brandon?" My sister asked me a few weeks later at a family get together.

I looked at Lucas. He looked at me.

"Do you guys know who you want?" Leah asked. "As her godparent?"

We darted our eyes to Christian who was on the blanket with Aaliyah playing with her peek-a-boo.

"Christian?" Leah mouthed. We nodded.

"He's always available to babysit her, he comes over all the time just to play with her." I said to her and Jason was who listening.

"I'm guessing he doesn't know...?" Jason asked.

We shook our heads.  "We haven't told him."

"I'm surprised you guys didn't say Marcus..."

"Marcus the one who said Christian." Said Lucas.

"Really?" We nodded.

"Why don't you guys ask him right now?" Jason asked.

I looked at Lucas. "You want to?"

"Yeah.. Let's just get everyone over here." Lucas said. "Zach!"

Zach walked over to us. "Go get mom and Luz."

He nodded.

"Aye! Christian, Qin! Marcus Darius and the rest of you guys come!" Lucas called out.

Everyone took a seat at the table. My mom came out with my brother and sister at her side.

"So we have news..." I said to everyone.

"Which is?" Xavier asked.

I looked at Lucas. He smiled and turned to everyone.

"Christian, your one of my best friends you know that right man?" Christian nodded. " You've always been there for me and Kim... Always no matter what."

Christian held Aaliyah tightly. Judging from his face he looked pretty scared with what he was going to hear. Haha! The dumbass doesn't know what's coming. Oh wait... What's a nicer way to say dumbass... Idiot. Yeah, there we go. The idiot doesn't know what's coming...

I like the meaner way better.

"So it isn't a surprise when we say we want you to be Aaliyah godfather." He said.

Christian face fell. "Wait what?" He asked so shocked.

"Christian we want you to be Aaliyah godfather." We said. Christian looked down and pointed to Aaliyah who was putting her teething ring in her mouth.

"Yes, Christian that Aaliyah." I laughed.

Christian smiled so big. "Are you guys serious?"

We nodded.

We watched Christian sit back in the chair trying to process everything we just said.

A few days later before practice started I sat down and watched the kids dance to the music I was playing.

Jake and Liset got here and they cheered as they saw them freestyle.

"Ayee!!!" Liset & I yelled.

"Alright guys come on let's finish this song." Jake said. "Kim! You wanna teach today?"

I smiled. "Yeah let's do it. " I walked to the front of the class & began to teach.

"Alright you guys got it down! Now let's see if you can do the whole dance to the song." I said to them." Aye Liset, Jake you guys wanna join them?"
