"Kimmy!" I heard my brother Xavier whisper.

I slowly opened my eyes and smiled at my brother.

"Happy birthday." He told me as he stepped to the side reveling two gifts a small box and a big box.

I smiled even more and sat up, Xavier handed me the gifts. I took the gifts and looked at them. Thinking of which one I should open. I decided the big box.

I ripped open the wrapper and saw a box that says VANS OFF THE WALL

I smiled so big and hugged Xavier.

"Finally! New pair!" I said as I saw how they were all grey.

"Figured you would need some new ones for dance coming up." He said looking down at me smiling. "Open the other box."

I looked down and open the box. It was a necklace shaped into a heart.

I smiled. I looked at my brother and got up and hugged him.

"Thank you so much!" I told him. "I love it so much!"

Xavier smiled. "Good, because you got more wanting for you downstairs."

I smiled and got up. I followed Xavier downstairs where I saw Leah holding out a cupcake.

I laughed and took the cupcake and bite into the red velvet cupcake.

"Happy sixteen birthday!" Leah hugged me.

I smiled. "Thank you!" I hugged her back. When we pulled away I took another bite out of the cupcake.

Liam and Zach walked my way and hugged me. Also wishing me a happy birthday.

"Thanks guys." I smiled.

My mom then came out of the washroom and my step father came out from the living room basement theater and both of them wished me a happy birthday. Which I returned with a thank you.

"Kim, hurry up and get ready." My mom told me. "We have a surprise for you."

I nodded.

"You're outfit on your bed!" Leah yelled.

"Kay!" I yelled out.

I walked to my room and saw what Leah meant.

I looked at the outfit and jumped up and down at how cute it was.

It's a white two strap dress, it came with a brown belt, a blue jean jacket and white converse.

I jumped up and down again. Excited for today.

"Happy birthday!!!" I heard Marcus and Dari yell from the phone.

I smiled. "Thank you!"

"Anytime Kim! Get ready for your surprise later today!" I heard Dari yell.

"You guys know what it is?"

I heard some moving around and then Lucas on the phone.

"Hello?"

"Hey Lucas." I smiled at the sound of his voice.

"Hey Kim, how's your birthday?" He asked.

"So far so good. "I admitted. " I'm excited for later."

"Ready for your surprise later?" He asked.

"Yes." I told him. "It's all I've been thinking about."

He chuckled. "Well you must wait a few more hours..."
