I was right. That Thursday was interesting. We had a lot more girls trying out for the dance team this year unlike last year. This year our second year of having the dance team. Lots of kids in school thought the dance team would be like the cheerleaders and I'm guessing that's why not many people tried out. But boy were they wrong! We do a lot of foot work and we mostly focus on street dance. But we also have a lot of ballet in our dances. Our dances have a lot of everything. But like I said we turn it more edgy and add style to it. Right now I was watching Zach try out for the football team. He was in the middle of the field running back and forth.

I was sitting down we were taking a five minute break before we showed them one last time how it was done and then from there we would go straight to the try outs.

"Hey Liset!" I yelled out to her.

"What?" She walked over to me.

"Let's practice the dance." I told her.

"Which one? The one they're learning?" She asked while getting up.

I nodded and we both smirked.

Liset walked to the center of the field as I hit play on the song and ran next to her.

As I got there I quickly lifted my leg up in the air and then followed by my right. Then we slowly shifted out weight to our right and fell to ground.

As me and Liset did the dance I completely forgot I was dancing in the middle of the soccer field. I forgot the football team, the basketball team everyone who was in a sport or trying out were here. I only knew it was just me and the music. My body moving to the song of the beat.

I forgot about everything for the whole dance. The only thing I felt was the smile on my face as I moved my body. After the song ended me and Liset stood still trying to catch our breath.

I heard people cheer and clap. I felt people arms around me. When I looked back I saw it was my brother, Lucas,Marcus, Christian, and Qin.

I shook my head but smiled.

"Alright come on girls let's see what you got." I said I walked to the side with the boys as Liset watched them dance.

"You did great!" Lucas said.

"Ugh! We should of took a video!!" Christian yelled.

"We should of! Snap chat too!" Zach yelled.

"Guys chill," I laughed. "Zach you live with me, like you've never seen me dance before."

"Not enough..." He said.

I rolled my eyes. "You get back to try outs. And you four back to practice!" I ordered. They did what they were told.

I turned my attention back to the girls and watched them. My eyes wandering who did it right.

"Okay well I guess we know who on the team." I said.

"Guess so." Liset said. "Ariana, Lindy and Kayla."

I nodded. "You could tell them." I Said.

"What? You're captain!" Liset exclaimed.

"You're the one who worked with them more!" I said slowly.

She sighed but nodded. She made her way to the girls and broke the news to them. I looked away before I could see anyone reaction.

"Hey beautiful," Lucas kissed my neck. I smiled and turned around putting my arms around his neck as I did so.

"Well hello there." I said.

"Anyway  I can take you out to a movie and dinner tonight?"

I shrugged. "I dunno, I already kinda have a cute boyfriend..."
