**Lucas POV**

Okay we left. You can go.

I read Leah text and walked out my house and headed to Kim's.

I knocked on the door and the door opened.

"Oh hey Lucas! Kim just left." Xavier told me as he saw me.

I shook my head. "I'm here to talk to you, your brother, and dad." I informed him.

Xavier looked at me confused. "Yeah, sure come in."

I walked inside the house and followed Xavier to the kitchen where I found Liam and his step father in the kitchen.

They both were looking up. They must of heard what I said. I see Kim's mom pass by and made her way upstairs, all she did was give me an encouraging smile.

"Sit down Lucas." Mr. Snef told me.

I took a seat across from Liam who was staring me down.

"So what would you like to talk about?" He asked me.

"Kim." I said my eyes never leaving his eyes.

He nodded and took a spoonful of his salad. "What about Kim?" He asked after he swallowed.

"I wanted you to know that I plan on asking Kim out this weekend on Sunday." I told him. "And well I'm asking you because well I like Kim a lot and I would really like to have all of your approval." I looked at Liam and Xavier.

"Bro you already have my approval." Xavier said.

I smiled.

"Just like that?" Liam asked Xavier.

"I know Lucas, I know he won't hurt my sister and I know he'll do anything for her. Just like how I know she'll do anything for him." Xavier told him.

I smiled. "That means a lot, Thanks man."

Xavier smiled. "But if you do hurt my sister I'll kill you."

"Xavier I can tell you right now, I have no strength or intention to hurt your sister."

Xavier nodded. "Then you have my blessing."

I looked at Liam. He looked at me for a while until finally he sighed and sat back.

"I believe you won't hurt Kim, and I know Kim hasn't been my sister for a long time. But if Xavier believes you won't do anything to Kim then I trust you. So you have my blessing."

I looked at Mr. Snef. He looked at me. "I find it very mature of you to ask permission to date my step daughter, even if she is my step daughter. "He started. "But you see with my daughter Leah I know how you boys are and I don't want Kim to get hurt how Leah did."

"With all the respect sir, but I won't hurt Kim. Like I told Xavier I have no strength in my body to hurt your daughter. I promise you I won't hurt Kim. I always keep my word." I said.

He looked at me and sighed. "I haven't known Kim long nor do I really know her that well as I should... but since Xavier, the only man Kim actually has in her life or well one of the guys she has in her life, says he can trust you with his sisters heart then well I do too."

I smiled. "Thank you."

**Kim POV**

I wondered the mall with Leah.

Earlier today Leah insisted we came to the mall for new swim suits for the camping trip. And that we hang out since we never really had a sister day. I admit it's kinda weird to hang out with her because yes we hardly don't know each other but at the same time it feels nice.
