5. I can kill someone with a shoe but I cannot flirt with one(1) man

Aki tried not to freak out over Nakul. He looked simply too hot to the young man. White formal button up with a loose black skinny tie, top button off and the sleeves rolled up to his elbows and black hair slightly messy. Aki rushed in with Ayu as Nakul politely escorted Emily in.

"Where were you?" Aki asked Ayu "We were waiting for a few minutes out there."

"Park." Ayu said "I played on the slides today. Dad did too."

"Did he?" Aki looked at Nakul and caught a glimpse of his backside as he spoke to Emily. Besides a pair of Thicc thighs and a nice ass which Aki DID NOT focus on at all, the back of his pants were dusty. He chuckled and pointed it out to Ayu who giggled too.

"BROWNIE COOKIES!" Ayu cheered.

Aki grinned "You liked those last time right? I got those and some chocolate chip ones too since you like those."

"Thank you Aki!" Ayu threw himself at Aki and hugged him.

A strange warmth filled Aki, making him lift the kid up and hug him back. This must be the big brother instinct San and Gale talk about. "AWW!" Emi gushed as she entered the kitchen with Nakul "Aki's hugging!"

Aki flushed in embarrassment but Ayu simply stayed put, arms locked around Aki's neck and smiled. Nakul grinned at the two of them "I feel like taking a picture of this it's adorable."

"Two babies." Emi fondly tickled the side of Aki's neck, knowing full well how sensitive he was there. He giggled and squirmed a bit, unable to control it.

Shit Nakul is here. Aki instantly shut up and looked at Nakul. He wasn't looking at Emily. He wasn't looking at Ayu either. Just Akabane. His warm dark brown eyes focused purely on Akabane. Aki gulped and flushed. Nobody ever looked at him like this. So intently. So focused. He tended to go unnoticed very easily. A trait that was an advantage to him being an assassin. But Nakul looked at him. Only him. Why is he looking at me? Nakul raised an eyebrow, definitely noticing the blush and chuckled lightly "You okay?"

"No just gay-" Aki said but slapped a hand over his mouth. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?!

Emi laughed softly. She's just enjoying my torture. Emi I know you're good with guns please shoot me in the face. Someone kill me. Fuck I'll kill myself. What if he's homophobic? What if he's not gay WAIT HE HAS A SON! SHIT!

"What's gay?" Ayu asked.

Aki blushed harder and set the kid on the counter and covered his red face with his hands. Nakul went to his son, close to Aki. Aki leaned against the counter to put some distance between them but Nakul was still close enough for Aki to smell his cologne and blush more. He smelled like new cars and pine trees. A weird combo but a lovely one. Nakul kindly explained to his son "Men who fall in love with other men are called gay, son. It's just like men loving women."

"So Aki falls in love with man?" Ayu looked at Aki curiously.

Akabane snuck a look at Nakul, blushed more and nodded a bit, covering his mouth and nose with his hands.

Emi grinned at him from behind and mouthed "Nice job outing yourself!"

Aki just glared at her and went back to blushing. Ayu looked at his dad again "So if Aki gets married he gets a husband?"

"Yes exactly." Nakul said

"Girls can also like girls?"

"Ayu anyone can like anyone." Nakul explained "It's all in the heart okay? You can love whoever you want."
