Aki glanced at the door of the work out room. He had only caught a part of what Nakul said and smiled slightly. It worked. Aki had the idea to throw the FBI, specifically Nakul and Yuri off before a big mission for Aki. He created a fake Joker. He used a different kind of card, clean but inaccurate strikes and left a single thumbprint of someone Gale was after. Carl Stinger. Now they'll find him and be after him for faking Joker and be more paranoid. I'll have the heat off me while I kill Mathers.

Aki had received an offer of 5 million dollars and a line of trade for the death of Liza's father, Nakul's ex father in law Garfield Mathers. He needed all eyes off Joker. Especially Nakul and Yuri, the only two people who were capable of actually getting him. They'd come close already. Aki just had to stay a few steps ahead. He hated playing games around Nakul but he didn't have much choice. Arjun enjoyed it though. He liked seeing Nakul run around looking for Joker when he literally slept in the same bed as Joker.

Nakul got out after a while with a frustrated expression. Aki smiled as nicely as he could "You okay love?"

"I'm fine angel." Nakul walked over and buried his face in Aki's shoulder "Can I get cuds please?"

"How about you eat lunch then we can cuddle for the rest of the afternoon?" Aki suggested with a kiss on his cheek.

"Sounds good." Nakul mumbled and Aki kissed his cheek again.

"C'mon Ayu's already started." Aki led him off to the dining table.

"Why did we bring burgers again when I'm trying to keep my body in check?" Nakul asked as he took a huge bite of his burger.

Aki just pointed to Ayu who was busy counting how many fries could fit whole in his mouth. Nakul sighed "Of course."

Ayu grumpily sat down to do his homework after eating. He sat by the coffee table and scribbled away answers. Aki kept an eye on him while Nakul cuddled him on the couch. Nakul's way of relieving stress was just sleeping. Despite being a 6'2'', muscled, intimidating FBI agent with a thing for glaring at people, Nakul was a huge cuddler. Aki liked how clingy he got, wrapping his arms around Aki's torso and pressing his cheek into Aki's chest. He just let Nakul sleep while he stroked his hair and read a book with one hand. Aki was reading Kafka On The Shore by Haruki Murakami in the original Japanese. He'd read the English already but he recently got his hands on an original copy thanks to Kenma.

This man really likes waves huh? Aki thought. Nakul snored against Aki, sending vibrations flitting though his body. Aki looked over at Ayu "You good there pup?"

"Addition is way too easy." Ayu shrugged and kept scribbling away "Subtraction is also easy. Gyu's right homework sucks Aki."

"I know but there's worse homework than math worksheets." Aki said lightly. Like bringing the head of a mobster to the leader of whatever mutiny group within a group.

Ayu left his sheets and limped up to Aki "Are you sure I can't go play today?"

"Give your foot rest today Ayu." He took his hand off Nakul's head and patted Ayu's cheek "Tomorrow we'll see how it is then take a call."

Nakul whined in his sleep "Aki..."

"Oh? Okay hand okay." Aki put his hand back to work, stroking Nakul's messy blond hair. Nakul sighed in satisfaction "Sorry pup but your dad seems to be clingy today."

"Eh it's fine." He said and went back to his work "Can we have cookies today?"

"Hmmm." Aki thought "I'll bake some if you want. I do have mix somewhere. Let's bake in the evening then since you can't play."
