It had been a couple of months since Liza's abrupt entrance. Aki was satisfied, she'd fallen for it then. She made no move to contact Nakul or Ayu and had left them alone. Nakul couldn't be happier and Ayu couldn't be gladder knowing he was safe with his dad. Aki felt good knowing that despite putting himself at risk for this, it all worked out just fine.
He was supposed to 'graduate' and 'get a job' in the next year so he was busy trying to figure out how he could get out of that but he didn't care at that moment. He was in his place with San, Beomgyu, Nakul and Ayu. Ayu was playing with San on their big screen TV. It was initially purchased for San's gaming career but these days it just became Ayu, Beomgyu and San's hang out spot. The three would gather and play games for hours on end, yelling at each other and sometimes crying when a certain genius four year old managed to beat them.
He smiled at the boisterous trio as he ate tiny caramel filled chocolates. He was just about to pop one in his mouth but it was immediately devoured by Nakul instead, simply biting it out of his fingers.
"Hey!" Aki glared "Thief!"
"Says you!" Nakul mumbled, chewing the chocolate.
"What do you mean by that?"
"You stole something bigger!" He said in a serious accusatory tone.
Oh shit does he know about us taking evidence from ECPD and erasing data? Nakul dramatically clutched his heart "Because you stole my heart!"
"I'll hit you." Aki held up a fist.
"No you won't." Nakul grinned but Aki punched him in the stomach anyway "Okay maybe you will."
It had been around four months since they'd met. Aki just kept falling for Nakul more and more every passing day. Every smile, every kiss, every moment he was with the man made him fall more. Emi admitted it had been a positive change. He smiled a lot more, had lesser panic attacks and wasn't in depressed hazes anymore. Of course he still had a few bad days but they were getting fewer and fewer. He was happy. Still guilty about lying to Nakul and literally being the person he kept chasing around but he always forced it out of his mind saying Joker and Aki were two different people.
Nakul smiled at Aki, the dimples sending the butterflies in his stomach go into a frenzy "I needed to talk to you by the way."
"Hm? What about?" Aki popped in two chocolates.
"It's been a while since we've gone on a date." Nakul rubbed the back of his neck "Mostly my fault given the new cases and Ayu finally getting into kindergarten."
"It's okay." Aki smiled "I've been busy too. Studying and all." Killing. Stealing. More killing.
"Yeah so... maybe this weekend we could just go out for a nice dinner? Just the two of us." Nakul took his hand "Then maybe we could uh- if you want- finally uh- um... do it?"
Aki flushed instantly. They still hadn't done the devil's tango yet. Despite how much Aki liked Nakul and absolutely worshipped his body, he was still scared and nervous. Shy about his body, apprehensive of all the scars decorating it in sick patterns. Aki thought about it for a few moments before slowly nodding.
Nakul's eyes widened "Sure? I don't want to rush you or pressure you-"
"No- no." Aki blushed "I- I want this. I want you."
A blushing Nakul smiled softly at him and kissed him. Aki liked to think he had gotten pretty good at kissing by now. San, Ayu and Beomgyu yelled in unison as they barged into the kitchen "GROSS!"
Nakul pulled away, glared at them "Suffer." And kissed Aki even more passionately.
Aki whimpered a bit at the force and kissed him back, mentally laughing at the sounds of the three idiots gagging. Gyu said "Damn Aki never thought you'd be that much of a powerbottom."
